Mahalo nui loa
We had the pork adobo, garlic chicken, and furikake chicken plates. Everything tasted really good. The kimchee that comes with the plates was really good as well.
We will be coming back in the future.
Ordered Fried chicken plate, 2 Mac salad, side order rice? (miscommunication there), and side order Gisantes. Upon arriving home, took out the bagged food. Gisantes leaked out lots of the liquid.
Fried chicken are large but little greasy. Suggest pat with paper towels to soak up the grease. Wife liked the taste of the chicken. Spaghetti noodle Mac salad was good but seems like less tuna now, if any. Ah shucks. Anyway, Happy Holidays everyone.
I’ll try visiting again next year.
Plenty of parking and not a long line when I ordered but they can get busy & I can totally understand why!
The furikake chicken and garlic chicken plates were super good and love how a “mini” plate still SERVES. Only “con” I have is the tuna in the Mac salad. If there was a second option for no tuna, these plates would be a solid 10/10!!
My one complaint was the girl there taking orders, rude, no smile, she made it awkward for us and then another family that walked in. Either way the food makes up for it.
At lunch, suggest to go there before 12pm. Near that time, they usually run out of certain items, like their fried chicken, pork gisantes, and hawaiian plates. (Not the same every time.)
For the price it’s reasonable, and their version of mac salad is delicious.
Second suggestion, bring cash or you will get charged an additional 3% to your debit or credit card. Kind of junk but starting to see other places do it now, so pretty normal.
Lastly, they have limited sitting. Most likely take your food to go…find somewhere else to eat.
The fried chicken was so crispy and juicy. The furikake chicken was sooo effing good but the star of the show for me was the Mac salad!!! We have had plates lunches all over the island but their Mac salad is the star of the show!!
Highly highly recommend you get an extra side of it because wow!
