We were staying in nearby Bluffton and came by for some dinner on a Saturday night, also Valentine’s Day. The staff was great. We ordered wings, onion rings, and a shrimp platter. Everything was fresh, if it was breaded, it was hand battered and tasty. We really enjoyed the meal, having no complaints at all! When we were getting ready to leave, one of the staff came by and handed me a box of chocolate and wishing a happy Valentine’s Day. It was a very thoughtful touch. I’d definitely go back on our next trip. Very thankful to the staff!

This little gem was a pleasant surprise. Overall the food was very good. The wings had a great flavor and were good size and moist. The sweet potato fries were fantastic, especially with the cinnamon butter they give you. The fried mushrooms were tasty as well.
The place is a bit small, so get there early. The decor is very interesting, as is the building itself. I’ll be back for sure.

We love everyone at KJ’s Grilling Company, they’re like our family! It’s a laid-back place where everyone knows your name. Always friendly and welcoming, they just make you feel at home. Whether you’re spending the day at the lake or hunting a Georgia buck, you’ll always enjoy dining at KJ’s. There’s great music, the game on TV, and the food never disappoints. They have something for everyone, our favorites are the Firecracker Rolls, Onion Rings, Okra, and Wings (and you get plenty!). My husband loves the cold draft beer, and we look forward to eating here almost every week.

This was my first ever experience with KJ’s and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. From the outside it didn’t look like much. In fact I almost missed it entirely. It’s a quaint little hole in the wall joint in Ft Gaines.
The food however was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken tender platter buffaloed with fries. The food was cooked to order so it was hot and fresh. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Service was top notch. This place definitely surprised me and that’s saying a lot. I definitely recommend KJ’s anytime you’re in Ft Gaines, Ga. You won’t be disappointed.

We were camping at Cotton Hill Campground and went out to see Fort Gaines. This is apparently the only watering hole/restaurant in town. It was quite good. We had wings and the Southwestern Firecracker Rolls – very good! We had a local brew, Omaha Brewing’s Lager and it was tasty. Great service, personable staff and the next time we’re here, we’ll plan on dinner! Affordable.

Called ahead for a group of 13 and they had the table ready for us. It did take a little while for everyone to get their food (menu clearly states that they are not a fast food restaurant) BUT the food was definitely worth the wait! Everything was delicious! Shared smoked sausage, garlic parm wings – cooked perfectly, the BBQ pork and sweet potato fries, plenty leftover. And…an apple tart with ice cream for dessert. Service was great and they were on top of everything. Great stop!

This place is a local treasure! It’s full of nostalgic charm and friendly people, but the food is the real star attraction! Killer ribs, cold beers, perfect onion rings and fried mushrooms. The patty melt and burgers are all good. The catfish and shrimp are perfectly fried or grilled every time. Service is very attentive. Food is cooked to order so give them a minute to get it to you. It’ll be hot and fresh.
