I haven’t tried a lot of AYCE places here in Halifax, but I can say this was good.
The sushi was really good, and I was surprised how much I liked the Seattle Roll (cream cheese, salmon, cucumber.)
The Crab Tempura was kind of bland, but in my experience with places in Ontario, it’s usually that way, so I’m not putting that on the restaurant itself.
My only gripe was with the service, for the black dragon roll, I only got them 40 minutes into my meal. Other than that, the service was great.
I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

We went for lunch, all you can eat, 24.99 each. Service was super quick for appetizers (within 10 minutes of being seated), we received chicken katsubi, tempura, and miso soup. The crunch and lightness of each was exceptional. The sushi rolls were excellent as well. For the price, it’s very satisfying and even worth more! Highly recommend.

Came in on a blustery day excited to try this place out with my wife only. Parking was either missing or we didn’t know where it was. Ended up walking two blocks to get here in the rain. We ordered a variety of dishes and the one thing that stuck out for us was the soy sauce was not great. Not kikkoman so it kind of ruined the flavour for us. The service started out strong and then wavered and fell apart too as more people came. The table base was wicked uncomfortable and there is no way to get comfortable when you’re in a booth. Imagine putting your feet against an elongated pyramid table base. Booths were too close together so finding a foothold to rest my foot flat was impossible and put me in pain. By the time we were ready for desert it took 20 minutes to get ice cream. I was not happy and even the waitress saw that cause she thought something was missing. We let her know as she asked but then took another 7 minutes to get it. By the time we got it we were unhappy with the service as we sat there and watched everyone else get their dishes.

There are plenty of all-you-can-eat sushi spots in Halifax, and while I haven’t tried them all, this one is definitely a standout. The variety is impressive, and everything is made fresh to order. While the service was a little on the slow side, the quality more than made up for it. Definitely worth checking out for any sushi lover.

We live in the building, so when we get desperate for meals we go here. Emphasis on the desperate, as they’re super inconsistent with their food. 1/4 times the rolls are great, but the other 3 times are awful. And like sometimes can’t finish meal awful (and we LOVE sushi). So now when we get sushi we usually pick it it up from somewhere else , cuz the extra effort is worth it for better sushi. Quite sad cuz the sushi here is actually quite good when it’s good, but BAD most of the time. Always funny walking into a building with a sushi place underneath it, with takeout, from another sushi spot lol.

Went here on a Wednesday and it’s an awesome little place! Small and intimate. I’m usually scared to try different sushi places but the salmon sashimi was so fresh!! Also love how they have all you can eat including weekdays for $34.99.

Arrived at 2:20 hoping to be in time for the $25 lunch all you can eat. Their policy is that you have to order before 2:30 to make use of said special (which is understandable but a detail that would have been nice to easily find on the website…). We were disappointed but decided to order off the menu instead. The ordering process was rather difficult and after our waiter went back and forth between us and the kitchen several times, we were told that the platter we had wanted was not available for dining in. There was no explanation or alternative offered so we decided to not spend $100+ and left without consuming anything.

I’ve heard great things about Kiyoto and was excited to give it a try. I was really impressed, it’s definitely one of the top contenders for all you can eat sushi. Everything came out hot, fresh, and tasted amazing. My only note would be that sometimes the sushi rolls were a bit too big for my liking, which made them filling and difficult to eat. Overall, I’d definitely go back!

Best sushi in Halifax!
Kiyoto Sushi is absolutely amazing! Everything is so fresh, delicious, and perfectly made. The pieces are huge compared to other places, and you can really tell they care about quality. Definitely one of the best sushi spots in Halifax highly recommend it!
