I heard good things about this place so I figured I’d give it a try. It’s delicious! The kalbi is incredible and I would highly recommend. They also have a lot of sides and they all look good. You have to check this place out. They are way friendly as well.

The food was amazing and you get a lot for the price. The shrimp tempura was perfectly crunchy and the kalbi (short ribs) were to die for.
Cucumber kimchi was the best I’ve had.
Shredded radish and Taegu were definitely my fave sides.
Fried zucchini was meh, could have been better if it was hot and crunchy, just need to get it when it’s fresh.
Otherwise everything else was REALLY good.
Definitely a must!! Going back again to try a few more things.

I live in Laie, so I’ve heard about KIX a few times from friends. I was not let down at all. Customer service was great, and very accommodating. I had the meat jun and kalbi. Delicious! I recommend you try this place if you are a fan of Korean BBQ. If you’re not a Korean BBQ fan they have a pretty extensive menu that covers all the local favorites.

This place was the bomb. Was there about 3 months ago, now I’m reminiscing. Great tasting bbq both American and Asian style. 4 (!) sides on a regular plate, all great. Price beats anything on the northshore and I was stuffed afterwords.

Ordered the Kalua Pig and Pork Adobo
Kalua is good, but Adobo is very flavorful(try the adobo)!
Regular plates are more than plenty so a mini plate should be enough to fill you up with no left overs. The cashier was friendly and service was fast!

I can’t believe I’m going to have such a delicious galbi in Hawaii! Galbi is as delicious as ribs eaten in Korea. They have a lot of sides. I went to eat galbi with my family at the nearby beach so I couldn’t be happier.
