Ended up here while on the Santa Pub Crawl this weekend. Granted, it was busy, but that’s no excuse for the horrible attitude that our bartender Nicholas (Nick) had. There were 4 of us ordering together. We ordered 2 drinks first. When he brought them over, we ordered two more. He rolled his eyes, and walked away to make them. He literally had to walk 5 feet away to make them. The drink special specified that they were made with Bulleit whiskey, but we noticed him pouring Old Grandad in, instead. When he brought them, we asked if he used Old Grandad and he said yes. We pointed out nicely that they were supposed to be made with Bulleit. His response was “So, you want me to remake them?” When we said yes, he picked up the drinks, spun around shaking his head, and was talking to himself the entire time he was remaking them. He brought the right drinks over with a pissed off look on his face, grabbed the handheld credit card machine, threw it on the counter in front of us, and walked away. We were just dumbfounded, as this was the worst service we had ever received. Needless to say, poor Nick didn’t get a tip, and we tip very well! Another patron at the bar said he was treated the same way, and was served warm bottled beer when they ran out of cold beer. Not sure why this dude still has a job. Our waitress at the table was lovely, though. We’ve had her a few times when we’ve been there, and she is always sweet, happy and attentive.

Went for drinks and apps with a group of 6. We all ordered crushes, and one got messed up. I asked for the correct one and the waitress was arguing with the bartender. It took 10 minutes to get my new drink. When we ordered our food (3 appetizers), the waitress did not write our orders down. 15 minutes later, she came back and double checked what we ordered, and said the complete wrong thing (so she didn’t write it down and didn’t put it in for 15 more minutes). The food was decent, but the added chicken on our nachos was $7 on the receipt when it said $3 on the menu. The server was nowhere to be found again to correct her error.
The music was also so loud I could barely hear the people next to me talking. Left dissatisfied.

Incredibly disappointed in this restaurant. For the price you’d expect much better food and more of it, the quantity was laughable and the cost was high for bland food. Also automatically charged a 22% tip built into the bill when we saw the wait staff maybe 2 times in the course of our meal and we were 1 of 3 tables being occupied.

We had a table of five, so not a huge party. A simple order took an hour to come out and was incomplete. When we complained to the server he sent out the line manager who told us that it was a problem with the chef’s attitude that resulted in our partial odder and cold food.
The server never checked on us again. When the bill came, several dishes were comped which was appreciated however a 22% service charge was added to the bill. We would of course tipped something for the server but 22% mandatory tip is inappropriate.
In retrospect it is not surprising that this boardwalk restaurant had no wait.

I have eaten there 2 x in as many years. Food is way better than what I would expect from a boardwalk experience, prices are reasonable. I recommend the wings as a unique experience. The beer selection is weak but pretty typical for mass people. The desserts are epic..try the waffles and ice cream…mmmm

I was excited by the thought of sitting and eating breakfast with a view of the ocean. I did not want to be there the entire day, service was extremely slow. We got a quiet and half laughing apology about the slow for the food to come out because a big table came in, yet the restaurant was not even half full on a Sunday morning. I don’t think they used salt or pepper on anything. Have you ever had unsalted scrambled eggs? They taste horrible.

I visited your restaurant on Monday. The food was excellent, but the service was terrible. Our server, Robert, took our order and then disappeared. Later, I saw him smoking behind the ice cream station. The girl who brought our food was unfriendly and never returned with the extra plate and bread I asked for. After 10 minutes, the young busser brought them immediately, smiling and apologizing, even though it wasn’t his fault. I’d come back for the food, but definitely not with the same server or that girl busser.
