Good morning. My wife and I visited the Spring Mills location yesterday.

The food was actually very good and the service was excellent. The cocktails were well made and the menu had a good variety of options. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

One small detail stood out, though, and it’s really about attention to presentation. I noticed the restaurant uses nice quality paper napkins, which was a pleasant touch, but the silverware didn’t match the overall quality of the dining experience.

Considering the menu prices ($18–$35 per entrée) and the quality of the food and service, I expected sturdier and better-maintained utensils. The fork at my table was extremely thin, scratched up, and looked worn to the point that I couldn’t tell if it was clean or just heavily marked. It simply didn’t match the otherwise good experience.

This is a minor detail, but small things like that can affect the overall impression of an otherwise very good restaurant. With the quality of food and service you’re offering, upgrading the silverware would help the dining experience feel more consistent with the rest of the presentation

Best Regards,

Tom Shaffer

went here with my 90 year old mother and sister. Food was wonderful and service but a couple came in either high or drunk laying all over each other at the next table. They drank three more drinks and were making out. The woman’s stomach was hanging out with about 6 inches of her purple underwear. We asked several times who the manager was and was told she was behind the bar. She watched this and did nothing. The table behind us had several older people and they kept looking. They should have never been served and asked to leave. It totally ruined our 100.00 meal…I know the waitress got them out quickly but I put it back on upper management….If you want an upscale place check who your letting in ….my mother said she even had her hand down his pants….come on really

Really nice little spot, probably one of the best restaurants/ bars in the Spring Mills area. Food was really good, fresh and affordable! Crab dip was legit, and better than other places. They had a good draft beer selection and a solid burger as well. Worth checking out next time you are passing through! The parking lot needs a ton of work, it is one massive pot hole. Other than that, great spot!

We have eaten here several times over the years. The last time we were here with a large party, we waited over an hour for our food. This evening our meals arrived in a reasonable time and we’re very good. Broiled Seafood sample platter was very fresh and flavorful- steamed & spiced correctly. Parmesan crushed sirloin was good. No flavor to the cut of meat so the topping was a must. Suggestion: Don’t order the French onion soup..not much flavor and bread just soaked in the bowl not crusty like it should be. The best item in the menu is the Spinach salad with large crab cake- all crab very little filler. Price is great for what you get and now they’ve added hardboiled egg and fresh mushrooms to the salad. All topped with the warm bacon dressing! Delicious

Very tasty, nice atmosphere. It is darker but it’s creates a nice mood. Love that they still had kids menus so the kids could celebrate Mimi’s birthday dinner with us at a fancy restaurant.

Nice menu. Slow service. The restaurant was cold and dark. Main dish and appetizer was pretty good. Paid extra for bacon cheese fries, they were cold and look to have been sitting for a bit.
I probably wouldn’t go back.

Dinner January 2926….Went last night for dinner and it was the best meal I’ve had in a long time! steak was cooked perfectly! Stuffed shrimp were amazing!!! Everything was great! (Spring mills)

Lunch 2025,…The food was excellent, great, and outstanding! Served hot and fresh! We will definitely be back!!! The restaurant was clean and kept up. The only issue would be that our waitress was really slow. We waited about 25 minutes or so for 2 apps (dip and pretzel) she seemed very busy and kind of flustered. But no worries, everyone has an off day! We will definitely return.

This used to be one of our favorite places, but it seems to have gone downhill lately. The food is still pretty decent… definitely the best crab cake. We went for our anniversary dinner. My husband asked for an Old Fashioned and what he got was nothing but watered down Jim Beam. The bartender who also seemed to be the host and was rude, didn’t seem to understand the problem with it. The service was very slow. We may or may not give it another try.

I went here with a guest for a late lunch and had a good experience. The restaurant and restrooms were pretty clean and the food was decent. I had the fish and chips which were tasty, but a little on the greasy side and my guest ordered a crab cake to go which they said was very good. Service started out a little rough but improved after our server was done helping out another elderly diner. Our server was very polite and did a good job checking up. The iced tea was on the weak side, but had decent flavor. Prices are about average for the area and value (quality/quantity) is above average. The decor is dated and the bar dominates the dining area since it’s front and center as you enter through the main entrance. The restaurant itself is set back from the road so depending on which direction your coming in from you may have to actually look for it. It’s a nice place to stop and get some good food if you’re in the area.

This is a bar/restaurant in Spring Mills, WV just off of Rt 11N. It was our first visit to this place and we were happy with the service that we received.

The food was prepared well and was served in a timely manner. All of the food tasted great and we enjoyed our visit. The only point that I can mention is that although the fish was good, I was not a big fan of the breading that was on it. I thought it was quite hard/tough but overall, it was good.

Facility was clean and well maintained and our waitress, Heather, was doing a great job. She was waitress, bartender, phone person and greeter so when she was able to keep up, I say kudos to her!
