Welcome to Kitty’s Family Dumpling! We’re a family-owned restaurant born from a passion for sharing the flavors of our southern Chinese heritage. Four years ago, we started as a small food truck at a local farmer’s market, bringing freshly made dumplings to our community. Today, we continue this tradition, crafting each dish with the same love and care that defines our family.

On the way back from West Yellowstone to Salt Lake City, we stopped here after seeing the high Google ratings. The Hunan rice noodles, beef dumplings, and xiaolongbao were really good. The veggie dumplings were a total flop — super salty. The big wontons were just okay. Overall, a decent stop for Chinese food.

Kitty’s food is great! I’m Chinese, and after having almost all the items on the menu, I can tell the food is authentic, real Chinese food! The food is delicious and perfect portion with very reasonable price (consider they’re handmade). My man cub loves Kitty’s food!!! Highly recommend! And Kitty is an awesome person!
Update:
Got Shredded potato comb, the best must try, if you like spicy food!!!
And hot sour soup, sooo gooood!

Kitty’s Family Dumplings is a little place in the food court at Ocean Mart. We ordered a variety of items including the pork dumplings which they said was the best, red bean buns, and a bacon and egg wrap. The dumplings were smaller than expected and were nothing special for being hand made. The red bean steamed bun was expensive and not flavorful. The bacon egg wrap with spicy sauce was the best thing we had there and was better than expected. Overall a disappointment but would eat the wrap again.

It’s inside of the Ogden ocean mart and it’s SO GOOD.
The pork pot stickers were delicious! And the owner was so sweet! Get some of her spicy homemade sauce if she offers.

UPDATED REVIEW:
Kitty’s Family Dumpling has a brick and mortar location in Ogden now and I’m so excited! They are located inside of the Ocean Mart in the food court area.
The food is still absolutely delicious! My daughter and I ordered chicken potstickers and Oolong lemon tea, but unfortunately they couldn’t make the tea. It’s to die for though, so I’ll be back. Kitty brought out a sample of the vegan stir fry and I gobbled it right up with the hot sauce she included. It’s #5 on the combo menu and I’m definitely getting that the next time I stop by.
Kitty is still just as sweet as ever and always makes me feel special when I visit (I was her very first customer when she opened her food truck). I’m so happy to see how far she has come and it’s awesome to see the community support her! Let’s help her open up a 2nd location!
ORIGINAL REVIEW 2/2022:
I highly recommend Kitty’s Family Dumpling! We had the chicken potstickers, dumplings, and lemon tea. The tea was extremely refreshing and not too sweet at all! We dipped our potstickers and dumplings in a spicy sauce that was absolutely fantastic!
Kitty and her family were so nice! While waiting in line, the cutest little girl kept us entertained (I think her name is Lucy). We had a great time while waiting for our food
We will definitely be back for more delicious food!

I enjoy their dumpling soup, but not as much as I used too. They’ve changed the recipe which has made it more sour than savory like it used to be a year ago. The dumplings are still good however.

I got the dumplings which were pricey for the quality i got. I came here because it was advertised as the best, as well as the reviews. The dumplings were still raw, the pork inside was pink and it solely tasted like grease. I was so excited and only came out disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend their dumplings

I haven’t really tried dumplings before other than at the buffets until today. They were great. I ordered the Steamed BBQ Pork Bao, the Steamed Shao Mai, an the Xiao Long Bao. They were so good. The BBQ Pork Bao when I first opened it up I thought it was a little lite on the meat filling but when I took a bite it was well balanced and great. The Xiao Long Bao was very good flavors and texture. the Shao Mai was very good and a very generous serving size. I will definitely put this restaurant into my rotation. I look forward to trying the other menu items as well as ordering these again.

I tried this shop at Ocean Mart in Ogden today for the first time. The woman working there was very friendly and the menu served attractive, so I was hopeful. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The Kimchi pork belly was a pork cut of meat, and very small portion of meat. The rice amount was overwhelming especially for $15.99, avoid. The Cha Su Bao was a fine bun but the pork inside was a small portion. I hope that the owners can correct these shortcomings, but I’m accustomed to far better from my SF home.
