Kite’s is just reopening their kitchen and getting going again. The menu is still under development, hopefully they bring back the chicken fried steak. I had the Carnitas nachos, all I can say is WOW! It was very tasty and more than I could finish. I hope they continue to roll out more hits like that on the menu.

Kites is so good that if the wait was over a year, I’d still Wait— edit 12/5 as we approach the Christmas season I think back to what it was like to have family. Now all I know is the festive feeling of waiting. I just wanted to place a simple order for the buffalo wings. The only thing keeping me going is the carolers outside spreading Christmas cheer by singing loud for all to hear— edit 5/14 gone is my life. I’ve missed so many occasions with my family. My grandmother passed away and I missed new years with my wife. She doesn’t even look at me anymore. I sleep on Kite’s door stop. The endless waiting for “Wing the dang day” buffalo wings has become my life. Why can’t i order? Is a take out order such a burden that they must ruin a life? I won’t give up. I’ll keep waiting.

9/27/25. Arrived post game. Found a table needed no to be cleaned. Ignored by a waitress in the back bar. Asked a male who wait staff was? Pointed to a male, dragging his feet, and ignored our table. Been here 30 minutes, clueless has yet to catch on!

We were bar hopping for a 21st birthday party, so we just had drinks. Unfortunately the canned drinks were warm, when we ordered a bucket of ice with three or four beers all we got was a bucket of ice, and one of the canned drinks had more than one flavor, but we never received the same flavor twice even when ordering specifically. Better service, cold drinks, and receiving what was ordered would really help this place.

So we came in to get a drink. The drinks were extremely watered down. The long island was straight water. The margaritas were not good at all. I will not be going back nor recommending. Highly disappointed. There was a smell to the place like a wet dog. I’m good to never return.

Typical bar, food a bit expensive for what you are getting in quality and size. No drink menu, half the beers are cold, the other half warm. Not too loud which is nice, and not busy.

Stop by to watch the game. Ordered the Southwest Eggrolls-they were amazing!! I sat at the bar and enjoyed great service and a great conversation with the bartender Olivia! Definitely was a wonderful hometown feeling.
