Bustling, Busy, and well run. Staff moves with intention and shows incredible care for the line of devoted restaurant attendees. The restaurant is well loved and often filled with people which keeps the atmosphere on the move. The food crafted with beauty and care.
The mushroom polenta was rich hearty, salty and filling. The brown rice bowl flavorful and so scrumptious. Plating was thoughtful and artistic. Flavors from all dishes we had were fresh and delightful
We also ordered a side plate of the ricotta pancakes and they are luxurious. Lemon curd and blueberries are beautifully plated and the flavors are so incredible. Syrup not needed this dish lives perfect exactly as you see it. Gorgeous fluffy airy bites with sweetness and citrus to top off the flavors
We went back a total of three times having the steel cut oats, chilaquiles (twice) and the chile verde. Each dish delivers with taste and presentation.

First time dining here today. It was a very pleasant surprise. Ya, the place is a little small but they sure make it up in quality. I had the Turkey Club sandwich and it was fantastic. BIG, Tasty and very filling. My wife had the Mushroom Polenta and she couldn’t stop saying how much she loved it. We talked to the table next to us. One had the Mushroom Polenta and she said the same thing her friend had the Sweet Potato Hash and told me that I have to try it next time.
I’m glad we found this amazing place and the Chef said to come back for their weekend specials. I know that we will do just that.
A great little place.

To be honest, we were pretty disappointed by this experience.

It had been hyped as being one of the best breakfast places in the area, so we drove the 10 minutes from Paso Robles, and basically it was just an upscale Starbucks style situation.

Parking was easy, it’s literally on what seems like a little side street in suburbia. Beautiful farmhouse style building, but the moment we walked in, we basically were standing on a line. There’s one cashier, and at the time we were there which was prime time 12 PM on a Saturday, he was distracted by also taking out orders so we all had to stand there for triple the time while the cashier abandoned the cash register to take orders out.

The menu was surprisingly sparse. Not very much variety, and if you didn’t happen to like what was on the one sided menu, you basically are left with not much to enjoy.

Ordered the avocado toast, and they were gracious and substituting out the bacon for a vegetarian option.

But then we wanted to order a side of potatoes, and literally all three options had already sold out of.

Totally understood that you can’t have an endless supply of fresh food, but it was Thanksgiving weekend and it was only 12 PM, and I guess they hadn’t planned on people actually ordering? In any case we were left with the choices of either a $10 fruit bowl, or french fries, or a sugar-heavy pastry.

So we just had the avocado toast and lattes.

The pricing was a bit high, for my avocado toast and a cup of coffee, tip and gratuity spent just under 30$

The food came out fairly promptly, though unfortunately my latte was cold. Given that there was just one waiter running around we opted to just drink the cold latte. We asked for water, and someone said they’d be right back and they never reappeared.

As there’s about 12 breakfast spots throughout downtown Paso Robles, we could’ve honestly just stayed in the area, saved on the gasoline and time, and ordered avocado toast did one of the places closer to our hotel.

Notes to owner would be obviously to ensure that you have proper staffing and supplies for the weekend, Rather than having a ton of folk drive out only to be told that you’re sold out by 11:30 AM. And hey, water really doesn’t cost you much, so especially as sometimes the weight for food is around 20 minutes, might be nice to offer people some water while they’re waiting.

Wouldn’t necessarily recommend if you’re looking for a real breakfast or something to nibble.

This spot was bomb Dot Com. I don’t like a lot of the things in Templeton but I do like this egg and toast situation. That joint was Bussdown. Coffee was taping and after a long night of binge drinking I needed this. Saves my life. Like Jesus Christ

Very cute place. Small town brunch vibes. We ordered the breakfast burrito and brown rice bowl. The breakfast burrito was good. Standard hearty breakfast burrito, however it was the brown rice bowl that was very impressive! Very flavourful, very balanced. Perfect way to start your day. Highly recommend!

Food is DELICIOUS. We ordered the mushroom polenta, Reuben, and the ricotta pancakes. My only critique would be that the polenta was chunky instead of a smooth mashed potato consistency and I reallyyyyy wish that the pancakes had more lemon sauce because it was just that good! By the end, the pancakes felt a little dry because there was no more sauce left. Overall, we were very happy with the taste of everything we ordered. Service is very friendly as well but there’s a bit of a waiting time to order, nothing crazy though. We will definitely be back in the future.

FYI, you can order a half stack of the pancakes for half the price.

Amazing place! Me and my wife were exploring the area and found this hidden gem

The food was amazing (both breakfast and lunch plates), the service and environment were awesome, and the coffee was one of the best ones I’ve had in a long time!!!

The place is a little over an hour from our house, but we’ll definitely be making the drive to eat here again ❤️

This is super cute little place for breakfast or lunch, and they have a great menu. I had the avocado toast, and it was good. A little more arugula than I would have preferred but tasty. My son ordered the ricotta pancakes, and they were wonderful! Neither of us had a huge appetite the day we went, but we’ll definitely go back.
