Prices. On point, and very reasonable. No complaints. At first I thought the wedge salad was pricey at $12, then when it came out, it was absolutely worth every dollar.
We recently hosted a lunch for our Volunteers, the appetizers were phenomenal & service was spectacular. Favorite apps were the Grilled Sausage and the Artichoke Dip… huge kudos to the Chef.
My favorite was the jalapeño popper cornbread! Literally drooling just thinking about it! So good if you’re in the area you should definitely try it!
We chose to sit closer to the kitchen in the fancy area!
They have amazing cocktails, I tried the watermelon mint lemon drop and it was fantastic. It came with a piece of fresh watermelon and the cocktail doubled as a partial donation to a cause. This is on their menu which I thought was super cool.
As for the food options, it was pretty diverse. Most of the salads come with dressing and all the usual stuff but you can add proteins to it as well. I had the watermelon beet salad to go with my cocktail and it paired nicely especially for the heat wave that was going on. The salad came with greens, cheese, candied walnuts and pickled beets. It was fantastic and light on the stomach. The ingredients were very fresh. My fiance had the crab cakes and they were delish! The steak was cooked nicely and the buffalo wing appetizer was a great shareable.
For dessert we had strawberry rhubarb sorbet which was refreshing and perfectly tangy. A great balance! We also had the peach cobbler and it was gone within seconds because of how tasty it was, it was definitely a favorite! I recommend this if you’re in the area and it’s in downtown woodland so you can walk around all the cool antique shops after dinner!
They also have a really cool notebook you can sign when paying! Such a cool and unique idea!
