What a lovely little hidden gem! This quaint, out-of-the-way restaurant was such a pleasant surprise. The service was warm and attentive, the food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Best of all, it wasn’t crowded at all—perfect for a relaxed meal. I ordered the brisket grilled cheese sandwich and it was yum—comfort food done right. Definitely worth giving this place a try!

Service was good but I should’ve took the hint when there were only two other tables seated 630 on a Sunday night. I ordered the artichoke and spinach dip and the barbecue pot roast with green beans. The green beans were too salty and the dip and pot roast did not have any seasoning. All the food taste like it was either frozen or prepared earlier in the day and reheated.
The only thing on my plate that even looked like I touched were the mashed potatoes. Wouldn’t recommend

We waited around 25-30 minutes for our food, but once we had it, the wait was worth it. Deep-Fried Mashed Potatoes Benedic, chilaquiles and ranchers hash are mouthwatering . This is definitely a place to stop and have a great time with family. Definitely we will be back.

I always have such a wonderful time here! Today I walked in feeling icky because of the weather. Bailey (sorry if I spelled wrong) she knew my drink order. She knows without me saying I love my English breakfast tea I had just a simple grilled cheese and soup. She is my absolute favorite. Very attractive, concerned about my well being. Need more servers like her in this world. Alllso knew the creame brûlées is my favorite!! Very happy girl right here

Wife had the grilled chicken sammich and I had the pork chop special. Service was great and food even better. Biggest pork chop I’ve seen in my life. It’s another must go when in the area.

First time here and food was amazing. Seasoned and came out hot and fresh. Customer Service is great. Rori has great customer service. Very attentive to refills and asked if we needed anything else. We most definitely will be back with family and friends.

The spiked milkshakes are always a great start to the meal.
We definitely liked the pecan crusted French toast, and the chicken & waffles were awesome too. Great, crispy, flavorful.
The chilaquiles were good, but the chips got a little too soggy.
Definitely recommend! Looking forward to coming back to Kitchen Tales for lunch or dinner.

Came here from College Station to have brunch. Place was not very busy so we were seated right away. The mimosa was good but the spicy mango margarita was not. I had chicken and waffles. They were good but nothing special to make them stand out against other places. The biscuits and gravy plate that my partner ordered was pretty darn good. The chocolate chip pancake was also delish! I would come back.

Great service! Food is delicious and brunch cocktails. I had the bourbon smash, perfect amount of sweetness not too sweet. Ranchero hash was really good and portion.
