The food here is not bad. I had a bacon cheeseburger that was good. But the inconsistent hours, hostile phone etiquette, and desire to close the kitchen as soon as possible really dampen my desire to order from here.
Last time I attemped to order from them at 7:50pm on a Friday night, and I was informed the grill was already shut off for the night. The posted closing time is 9pm, but they claim to stop serving food at 8pm, so I was very upset that information was not available online and even so, that they had shut down even earlier than they should.
I truly feel like they do not want my patronage.

The 3 stars is because their cheeseburgers are delicious. Their omelet on the other hand, I couldn’t even eat because there was so much cheese on it. I ordered all veggies, they didn’t put the peppers on there. I called to ask what soup they had and she said “Ummm idk it’s either potato or minestrone.” I said, “OK that’s two totally different kinds, can you find out?” She replied with, “Who’s this?” So I hung up. Don’t let them ruin your morning with their inedible omelet. Enjoy their burger for lunch.

My wife and I thought we’d try this little cafe out. The menu looked a lot like the old Woolworth ones from our past.
I ordered the elk burger and specifically asked for rare to medium rare and the waitress assured me no problem.
Problem, elk burger is not supposed to be the consistency of a burnt hockey puck.
Oh well people make mistakes. I told the waitress to tell the cook to shoot it, take the hide off it, clean it and the just brand it on each side.
Problem again still way overcooked.
I just paid for what we ate and drank, told the young waitress that although she did a good job on her part, the cook ruined any chance of a tip. I then suggested that she see the cook for the appropriate tip.

Came in here for the 1st time a couple weeks back. Had to wait quite awhile before someone came to take our order. Brought room temp waters with no ice in them. Ordered grilled chicken sandwich which was dry. The fries were REALLY good. I may come back for just the fries. Wife ordered the BLT. The toast was dry and hard. The bacon was dry and tasted terrible. I had to ask 3 times for BBQ sauce and ranch. Finally walked up to the counter. Had 3 women running the place and couldn’t seem to stay on top of what little amount of people there was in there. It’s a good atmosphere and clean and renovated and modern.

Paid 50 dollars for two CHARRED steaks when medium rare was requested. Husband tolerated his steak well done when he asked for medium. Potatoes were bland and pasty. Service was unmentionable. One waitress with maximum 4 tables at a time and I had to chase her down with my steak. When I explained that the blackened steak was not even close to what I ordered she gave me a blank stare like I was crazy. I actually had to demand a new one be made, then waited nearly another hour for it to come out and still be charred. One star is generous, at best. Worst food I’ve ever tasted, worst service I’ve seen in a loong time. I’m generally a generous tipper, and we didn’t even leave one. 100% Go ANYWHERE else.
