See i think restaurants should stay with the same quality n quantity they start it. I ordered from here once and i enjoyed it so i decided to try the same dish a week later and i am so disappointed What happened in a week. Ugh there is no consistently good African food here.

I stopped by Kitchen Near You recently, and I gotta say—it lived up to the hype. This place is definitely one of those hidden gems where the flavor speaks for itself. I met up with a couple friends, and we were all impressed with how fresh and well-seasoned everything was. The menu has a really nice variety, but it doesn’t feel overwhelming—they clearly know what they do well and they stick to it.

I ordered the wings and mac and cheese, and both hit the spot. The wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with a sauce that wasn’t just sweet or hot—it had real flavor behind it. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy, not dry or bland like you sometimes get at other spots. You could tell it was made with care, not just scooped out of a tray.

Service-wise, everything was smooth. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and moved efficiently even though it was busy. The vibe inside is more grab-and-go or quick casual, but you don’t feel rushed. It’s clean, well-lit, and the energy is good.

If you’re in the area and want something that’s satisfying and flavorful without being overpriced or fussy, Kitchen Near You is a solid move. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

My experience was good, just that I look like it gets better at night. The fish is good, just a little salty. The Achu was good, too abd the soya. For next time I will recommend coming at night for a better experience cause the evening looks cold that is not too lively.

Went this past Friday for the first time, as a treat for my birthday with 2 of my friends. The music was good but the DJ wasn’t great at transitioning from song to song. We were told that if we weren’t buying bottle service m, which is $350 for a $40/50 bottle of retailed liquor, you couldn’t sit on the couches in the back of the wall. We moved to a table on the floor because, um no. We ordered food. The jollof was so spicy I couldn’t eat it, the fish was good, the suya was extremely over cooked by tasty, and the goat was fatty and tasted like nothing but tomato sauce. The service wasn’t that great, as the waitress wasn’t friendly at all. Will probably never return, even though I really wanted to like this place.

Service was good, the food amazing. We oder one fish to eat and one to take away. My friend is new to the area and I took him there. He really liked it and he would like to go back. It was nice African music sound.

THEY SENT US SPOILED EGUSI PUDDING!!
They don’t value Uber eats customers.
We have been ordering delivery several times a week. You never know if the soya will be days old or if the plantain will be dried out.
We kept ordering because we like the food… when made fresh.
Today was horrible , dried out bitter soya and rotten egusi.
My husband and I went running to the bathroom to spit it out. Over $100 in food and we have to throw it out.
When we called to complain their response was “ sorry ask Uber for your money back”.
My advice is eat in the restaurant , don’t deliver .

This is my top place to visit for whole Tilapia fish, it’s very delicious and full of spice. I also enjoy their goat pepper soup. And of course dancing to afrobeats afterwards.
