If I had one critique, it would be that the larger entrée plates were a bit too salty for my taste. Still, everything else more than made up for it. I’d definitely come back again just for the sushi and cocktails!
But the service was really poor. Started out, obviously waiting for an hour at six in the afternoon was a lot. But even when we sat down
We were all out out of water for about 15 minutes,
Never got my miso soup appetizer
My Coke that I ordered I didn’t get until after the food was here reminding the server and they don’t do to go refill so I basically paid for literally one cup of Coke.
Food menu and presentation looks great and amazing
The general’s chicken that I had was pretty tasty and crispy. The rice portion was very small and pretty basic.
The orange chicken was on par with panda express. P.F. Chang’s is way better.
The wontons were amazing though
That’s all. This place was packed busy hopefully other people have better experiences.
The only issue worth noting was the timing of the entrées. It was a busy Friday night, which is understandable, but when you’re seated together at a table, dishes should arrive at roughly the same time. That slight delay aside, nothing else missed the mark.
Kitchen Master is an excellent choice for date nights and special occasions, it’s honestly a no-brainer. The atmosphere feels intentional and relaxed, making it just as suitable for celebrations or group dinners, and they clearly accommodate larger parties comfortably.
Minor pacing hiccup, strong execution everywhere else. This is a place I’d confidently recommend and happily return to.
Appetizer – Sliced Cucumber. Had this nice spicy kick to it!
Roll – Flaming Dragon. Really really good
Main – Mongolian Beef / Chili Wonton Noodles. Both BANGIN’ on all cylinders baby!
Drinks – Satsuma Shuzo Kannoko (Mugi)
&
BOW OF FIRE
thai chilli dulce vida blanco, cointreau, lime juice, agavae, chilli salt rim
My friend and I started with couple cocktails, the Moonlight (Virgo) and Shiro Blossom. Then ordered the Kimchi Wagyu Potstickers, Cucumber Salad, Chicken & Shittake Soup Dumplings, and Szechuan Pork Wontons to share so we could sample a little of everything.
All were certified BANGERS. When I tell you flavor out the wazoo! I truly wanted more food but we were stuffed. I really appreciated the presentation of each dish.
Highly recommended and definitely worthy drive.
Food: pork soup dumplings were really good!! I also got the chili oil wonton noodles. It was good but i needed to add a hit or two of black vinegar. Scallion pancake was unfortunately raw in the middle, but it was taken off the bill so no problem. He did give us a strawberry matcha martini for free as an apology, which was delicious and very nice of him. We also got hot and sour soup (amazing) cucumber salad (pretty good) and the bluefin tuna sampler as an appetizer (great!!) and the chocolate dumplings (really good!).
Service: unfortunately not the star of our visit. Our server spoke very quietly and was a bit forgetful. He didn’t know how much it would be to add a pork rib to ramen and had to go back and ask- but didn’t put the full order in until he came back to tell us. The wait was a while for our mains- around 25 mins. He forgot to put in the cucumber salad and the hot and sour soup we ordered (with the rest of the food) and he had to ask us again. We didn’t receive them until we were mostly done with our mains. He also didn’t take our menus once we ordered- one of the other staff noticed and took them later. He never refilled out water either despite asking 3x. He also never cleared our dirty plates and we had to ask for clean plates for dessert. Unfortunately we did have to wait like 20 mins for our dessert.
Atmosphere: incredible!! Best part of our visit. Amazing chill music and lighting. The entrance and dining room were decorated very elegantly.
Summary:
The wait for food was long and service was unfortunately not consistent with the type of place and price point.
Unfortunately i wouldn’t come back as the poor service left a sour taste in our mouths.
