The food was amazing, the reservation process was smooth as butter, drinks were on point. Parking was easy to find and bathrooms were clean.
My only suggestions would be to use a different font combination on their special menus and maybe get some 4ft rounds instead of the 3ft ones they currently use. The text is tiny and blended in with the background making it harder to read on the special menus The round tables feel better for one person and two and get very tight once you have your food, drink, and an appetizer. None of that took away from the experience though
The service was TOP tier — friendly, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. You can truly taste the care that goes into the food. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!
The cook sits your food up by the door, which is why in my opinion I think the food is always cold. You have so many people walking past your food. The collard greens had so many stalks in there I think I got more stocks than I did greens. I don’t think this place should operate as a restaurant. Maybe they should only do carry out service they can’t handle restaurant status! This was a horrible experience!
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Kitchen Klassified.
I placed a catering order for my school’s Black History Month celebration, a significant and meaningful event for our students and staff and I have email documentation clearly confirming that I requested the date of 2/26/26. Despite this written confirmation, Kitchen Klassified mixed up the date for my order and was unable to fulfill the catering in time for the event.
Because of their mistake, I had to scramble at the last minute to find other restaurants capable of preparing a large volume of food on short notice. It was incredibly stressful and completely avoidable. When you are coordinating a school-wide event, timing is everything.
To make matters worse, staff attempted to reach the manager, Shannon, and she never responded. There was no sense of urgency, no accountability, and no proactive effort to resolve the issue once the mistake was discovered.
This experience was unacceptable and unprofessional. I cannot recommend them for catering, especially for important, time-sensitive events.

The staff seated me quickly, which I appreciated, though the food itself took quite a while to arrive. When it finally did, the catfish was fresh, crispy, and flavorful — easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the rice and étouffée sauce were only lukewarm, which made the plate feel uneven.
What really caught me off guard was the price. My entrée alone was $32, and with a single lemonade, the bill climbed to $45. For one person, no appetizer, no dessert, no alcohol. Cocktails like mimosas are listed at $9, and appetizers hover near $20, so it’s clear that dining here adds up fast. I’ve also noticed that gratuity may be added automatically to some checks, which is something guests should be aware of.
The interior décor is stylish — dark green walls with orange chairs give it a modern touch — but the restaurant is very small, with limited seating. Several guests also raised concerns about accessibility for those with disabilities.
While the food itself was solid, the high prices, long wait, and cramped space make this a place I was glad to try once, but wouldn’t return to unless I felt like splurging.
