I must say this place is worth the hype when it comes to food. This place is small so you must bring your patience with you. There was some waiting. However, I’ve waited longer at other establishments for food half as good as this place. We order the crab fries and sould rolls as appetizers. The soul rolls were really good, and the crab didn’t have a ton of crab, but the flavor was great. For entrees, we had the fried snapper and turkey wings. The snapper was good but didn’t have that much jerk spice to it, and the turkey wings were falling off the bone, tender, juicy, and great. This place has the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of mac and cheese in my life. The collard reens and sweet potatoes were also really good. I have no complaints and will be returning soon. I would suggest making reservations through their website or you will be waiting for a good while.

Cozy welcoming dining room. I went mid day. They have very limited hours. My food we very good . I absolutely loved loved the fried cabbage. I also has seafood egg roll. I enjoyed them but the texture may be problematic for some because the seafood mixture was a little loose. They were beautiful crispy on the outside and flavorful. I also had beans and rice. The food was horrible. I order the fried fish; specifying the fish is to be fried extra crispy. After waiting nearly 30mins the food came, didn’t check the food inside due to having to get back to work. Once in the vehicle when checking the food, seeing the fish was under cook falling part, the crust was soggy (never seen fish leaking juice until now) red beans covering yellow rice (Customer should be aware that white rice isn’t being used with the red beans). The beans and fish was very salty. The cabbage was the best tasting part yet the sausages in the cabbage were different colors some were very dark in color. I’m pissed! If your going to charge $30 for a 2 piece fish plate with 2 side, let it be hands down the best tasting fish in town. Had to bring the fish home and re-cook it in the oven to try in get it crisp. I’m posting because the number listed was not working.

Extremely rude manager-Note: I ordered at 4:10 pm and was giving food at 4:40 pm take out. What happened: I was quoted 20 minutes for a takeout delivery. Other patrons that ordered and were seated after me already receive their food. While waiting outside for a text to come, I walked inside to see where the order was. The text came through saying it was ready and it was not ready. Asked the front attendant what happened to the order she said the system has been running slow and that the owner never received the order. I informed her that I have been waiting 30 minutes and had an appointment at 4:45. Would I be compensated for spending the amount of money that I paid but not getting the food in the amount of time they quoted. She asked the manager he asked her how much time she quoted 30 minutes when it was 20 and then gave me the five hand hold up to let me know to stop talking when I informed him it was 30 minutes. Regardless of the time, I still had to wait for food, and the food was not ready when they sent the text. Him being rude and no apology from anyone when I was providing him information was an additional slap in the “soul food” face. Food was good, portion size for sides small, attitude of management horrible meal was $40 but can’t get the time back.

Kitchen Klassifieds Cafe is super small, some might say it’s an intimate setting. If you’re dining in for dinner you might want to make a reservation. The employees were pleasant and food we ordered was good. The serving size is healthy. You will most definitely be satisfied and full. Although, the rice was dry I will be happily returning multiple time to try other dishes.

Let the church say Amen somebody!!! Kitchen Klassifieds….2 thumbs up!!! The food was delicious, and it was worth the drive and sitting in traffic on BW Parkway, traveling from Arlington, VA. The family and I traveled to Kitchen Klassifieds to enjoy lunch this afternoon (August 19, 2023). Upon arrival, we were greeted by a wonderful hostess, and we were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time. My family and I were anxious to try just about everything on the menu because it all looked so good. To start us off, we ordered a round of Peach Tea’s and water. The Peach Tea hit the spot. I had the Turkey wings/Cabbage/Mac and cheese. The turkey wings were a little salty, the Mac and cheese was good and the cabbage was seasoned good. The restaurant is small but quaint. The overall atmosphere is very nice. The staff is very friendly. There was a little wait for my food, but it was worth it.

The restaurant is intimate and close seating, however it is beautifully designed with artwork that fits the space. The service was excellent. The servers were very pleasant and professional. The food is prepared to order so it will be a wait but it delivered in every way from visual to the taste. Ms. Shannon the owner visited each table to hear feedback and has a beautiful soul. Please make sure to visit her restaurant but make sure to make a reservation. Great job BBW owner!

No complaints here! The food was delicious! The sweet potatoes are the money maker! Staff was pleasant and my food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered take out and will continue to do so. The inside is nice and they have a good selection of music but the spot is a little small on the inside. Keep the quality of food up and you have a regular!

I was so excited to eat here. Only to get here and not feel welcomed at all, which made me get takeout instead of dining in as planned. The hostess are young and not focused on their customers. Their attitude gave I’m here because, I have to be. I ordered Fried Turkey Wings and I got Baked, not to mention it looked like they just threw the left overs in there. I took them because, at this point I was pissed and didn’t feel like waiting even longer, they actually turned out to be good 10/10. The Collard Greens were a 6/10, The potato salad which I paid $6 for was very small for that amount I give it a 4/10. The macaroni and cheese was not Mack’N at All. I even put it in the oven to bake longer, thinking that it would taste better still nothing. I would never ordered it again. I might go back just to try the fried turkey wings, because that’s what I really wanted, but yea they can do better all around!!! Definitely won’t be spending $30 w/ them again!!!
