Wonderful Friday night at Kitchen American Grill.
Jessica was our server and she was awesome!
We have been lucky enough to have Jessica on previous visits and she is consistently great.

WOW. The Kitchen American Grill in Whitehouse, NJ absolutely knocked it out of the park. From the first bite to the last, everything was next level. The Kitchen Burger was insanely good—juicy, perfectly cooked, and easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The nachos were unreal: piled high, loaded, and impossible to put down.
My fiancé was obsessed with her grown-up grilled cheese—comfort food done right, elevated, melty, and just straight-up delicious.
And then there’s our waitress Jessica, who deserves a shoutout of her own She was AMAZING—super friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Perfect timing, great recommendations, and just all-around awesome service.
Incredible food, top-tier service, and a great vibe. This place is a MUST. We’ll 100% be back—and bringing friends next time!

BEST Mac and cheese and French onion soup
I’ve ever had. The portions were huge! My husband loved his steak frites also. Our waitress was also so sweet and friendly and super attentive, forget her name but she had very long blonde hair. SO glad we tried this place and will 100% be back!

My husband and I celebrated his birthday at American Kitchen Grille and are very glad we did. We both had shorts ribs for entree which were excellent and perfect for a cold winter night. Our server Alex was extremely attentive and very friendly. He and other staff members made my husband’s birthday fun and memorable We loved the tiramisu too!

After almost two years of knowing this restaurant existed, we finally made our way there this past weekend—and wow, it absolutely blew us away. The vibe is just right: modern without being too modern, laidback without being too laid back. It’s effortlessly impressive.
The food was completely on point. I had the crab cakes, my wife had the salmon, one of our kids went with shrimp, and the other had a grilled cheese—and each dish was as beautifully presented as it was delicious.
What really stood out was the service. Every server we saw was attentive but never overbearing, which made the whole atmosphere feel relaxed, welcoming, and just really enjoyable. And if you’re lucky enough to be seated in Phoebe’s section, just know—you’re in excellent hands. She made our night even better.
Even got chatting with another server about my bag/satchel Which made my night for just even noticing little details of other guest.
We’ll definitely be back.

This was our first time going to this restaurant celebrating a birthday & we definitely enjoyed the entire experience. Our waiter Anthony was great & paced our order so everything went smoothly. The food was delicious & dessert was too. Definitely will be back!

First time there. Appetizers were a good start. We have the wings, boom boom cauliflower, and calamari. Everyone loved their food. All sauces were requested on the side (I rather them on the chicken) due to size of party. First-time having the boom cauliflower and it didn’t disappoint especially with the sauce (again on the side) and it was not spicy hot at all given its name. Didn’t try the calamari (personal preference) but everyone liked it. EVERYONE liked their food and there was not one complaint. Wanted to do the cowboy 18oz steak but was not assured that the PITTSBURGH MEDIUM temp could be attainable so I got the braised short rib and was good as well. Can’t recall the server name but she was aces and very pleasant to deal with. She even did a little Apple-Pie rendition of what would happen it it was warmed up (twice). Would definitely go again!

We had a wonderful experience at Kitchen American Grill! From start to finish, everything was phenomenal. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were perfectly crafted, and dessert was the perfect ending to the meal. Even the cappuccino was outstanding…rich, smooth, and clearly made with care.
Our server was incredibly attentive and personable, offering great suggestions that truly elevated our dining experience. The ambiance was warm, cozy, and inviting, making it a perfect spot for an enjoyable night out.
