We ate at Kitchen 57 and sat outside, which was a great way to enjoy the area. We ordered the hamburger and the nachos. The burger was cooked perfectly. The nachos were tasty but not what I expected, as they included raw tuna, which was not mentioned on the menu and was not brought up by the waiter (he did ask about allergies). The top layer of the nachos could be eaten with our fingers, but the lower layer had a lot of juice, so we ended up eating that part with a fork. I would come back for the burger and the outdoor seating, but I probably would not order the nachos again.

Went to Kitchen 57 for the first time about 2 weeks ago, forgot to do a review but still remember the great food. The tuna nachos were incredible, one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had. The meat was a bit disappointing, since it was a little tough/chewy with the dishes we tried which were the burnt ends and patty melt. But the mahi sandwich and deconstructed key like pie made up for it. Will 100% be coming back to try some drinks and the charcuterie.

Visited for happy hour on Wednesday for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Sebastian greeted us warmly and ran through our options for happy hour specials and drinks. We decided on the margherita pizza, truffle fries, and passion mojito which were all so delicious. The pizza was crispy and salty topped with blistered cherry tomatoes *chef’s kiss*.

Sebastian checked on us a few times during our meal and other staff refilled our water glasses which I appreciate. Overall great prices and the vibe is perfect for date night or even meeting up with friends. I plan to visit again and try other meals. Also love that happy hour lasts until 7pm! I came from downtown Miami after work and was relieved to find a spot that doesn’t end happy hour by 6.

What a pleasant surprise Kitchen 57 was. I didn’t have any expectations coming in, but left super impressed. I’m not the biggest fan of American fare, but that changed after today! Each dish was different than the last and everything was phenomenal. The food was amazing, Sebastian, our server was just as amazing and the speed of service was phenomenal. I left STUFFED and I was happy about it. The cocktails and mocktails were amazing too. Check this place out asap!

Jonathan A at Kitchen 57 in Sunset is truly exceptional. From the moment you sit at the bar, his energy and hospitality stand out. He’s attentive, welcoming, and genuinely cares about the customers he serves.

What impressed me most is that Jonathan goes above and beyond—not just as a bartender, but as a person. He even took the time to help me with a personal matter outside of the bar, which says a lot about his character.

Great service is one thing, but kindness and authenticity are what make someone memorable. Jonathan delivers both. Kitchen 57 is lucky to have him.

Second visit here, I had an even better experience than the first time! Being in the hospitality industry as a Wedding and Event DJ in Miami, South Florida, Key Largo, Islamorada, and the Florida Keys, I truly appreciate the great hospitality I received here from not only my server Cricket, but the owner and his wife are very hands on and you can tell put much love and passion into this business. Really heartwarming and adds so much to the experience ! I was here to support my fellow DJ friend @benredd to do his Booze & Vinyl promotion which really added to the vibe. Both dishes I had, Salmon and Rigatoni were flavorful and cooked to perfection. Recommend even MORE now!!

First Visit:
Loved this place, and enjoyed everything about it including the vibe, service courtesy of Ana our server, and the food which was a phenomenal value for the money considering the quality, serving size, presentation, and taste! Had the Blackened Chicken Breasts (with large side $20! and the burger). Ana even explained all the different events/promos they have goin on, and told me about her long time working here. Really appreciated the down home, family typa hospitality! The owner and executive chef Michael Altman even came to our table, and you can feel the love, pride, and more he puts into his biz. Meraki is a Greek word I learned recently which he and Ana have. I’m a local wedding and event DJ in Miami and South Florida that came to support my DJ friend @bennredd (who was performing a great DJ set with a mix of throwbacks and more contemporary sounds) but wasn’t expecting such a great experience as this was! There’s an added benefit of talented bands performing live entertainment at nearby venues within a short, safe walking distance, so plan your evening accordingly. Have dinner here then pub crawl lol. They even have a rewards program, Kitchen Perks, which encourages repeat customers in addition to all the above. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Tried Kitchen 57 for a first date and overall it was a decent experience with some highs and lows. We started with the fried zucchini, which wasn’t really my favorite — the pieces were thick-cut and different from most fried zucchini I’ve had, and the sauce didn’t pair well. It came with like a runny spicy mayo type sauce, but I think a marinara would’ve complemented it better. My date ordered the chicken parm. It actually had ricotta in it, which isn’t traditional, but it wasn’t bad. The bigger issue was the pasta — it was overcooked, the sauce was just layered on top instead of mixed in, and the portion size felt a little small.I went with the blackened mahi Reuben. Unfortunately, I didn’t really taste much of the blackening seasoning, and the fish itself was a bit bland. I also wish the portion of fish was bigger. The fries were hot and fresh though, which was a nice — just wish there were more of them.It was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night. That said, this area can be tough for restaurants, so I hope they make it. The service was decent and not a bad spot overall, just would expect a little more for 120$ after tip meal.

We went here for happy hour to celebrate a birthday. We sat in the bar area. On Thursday’s they offer free campaign for woman and they have a great and reasonably priced selection of happy hour food.

Every thing tasted great and Ana our waitress was friendly and always available. Some of the seats in the bar area were not comfortable to sit for long periods of time. The noise level was very loud and if someone was not sitting next to you, you could not hear conversations.

There was plenty of paid street parking that required an app but was easy to use and to add time if needed. Street parking can get expensive if you are parked for any length of time.

This place is very popular and it appears to be a local spot. It can get crowded and very loud.

Stopped in for dinner while in town. I ordered the Mozzarella & Tomato’s with Parma ham starter, with a cold Draft Pilsner, snd the Chicken Parmigiana for my main. My daughter ordered the Burrito Bowl with Steak and a Shirley Temple. We shared the Brownies & Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert.

The place was pumping, and had a great vibe: lots of folks in the front bar area, and a good portion of the dining area was filled with people enjoying their diners, desserts, and drinks.

We both enjoyed what we ordered, and would probably come back.

Our Service was perfection!
