I recently visited a lovely Japanese restaurant in the Oak Ridge community, and it was such a pleasant experience!
The atmosphere was warm and cozy — perfect for a relaxing meal. The décor had an authentic Japanese touch, which made the place feel very inviting.
The food was excellent — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. I especially enjoyed the salad with their special black sesame dressing, as well as the sashimi and sushi, which tasted authentic and comforting. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive without being intrusive.
Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for anyone looking for a quiet place to enjoy delicious Japanese food. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family.

There are at least 5 sushi restaurants within 5 minutes drive for this area. First time try Kitano, there are many takeaway customers more than dine in at Sunday night. The restaurants is clean and seat comfortable. Sushi are fresh and the Udon noodles are tasty. The pork katsu are crispy. We will try their takeaway again for gathering.

Really good experience at Kitano Sushi. The sushi was fresh and everything came out quick. Our server Alice was great — super friendly, checked in at the right times, and made the night easy and enjoyable. Definitely coming back.

Beautiful ambiance. Service was good. I asked for a substitution and wasn’t informed that it will be a surplus charge. The sea food soup was very fresh. Sushi was good not excellent. The rice seemed stale.

We recently visited Kitano Sushi on Yonge Street, and it was a great experience. The restaurant is right on the corner, so it’s easy to find and get to. There’s also lots of free parking, which made things really convenient.
The restaurant’s design is simple and nice, and you can see into the kitchen while they prepare the food. This made the experience feel more personal and fun.
We were a group of 15 people, including 7 kids, and the customer service was excellent. Our waitress was patient and kind, even though the kids were loud and kept asking for things. She took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. Her friendly attitude made the meal even better.
The food was delicious and just as good as more famous sushi places but for a much lower price. We were surprised by how affordable the meal was for the quality we received.
The restaurant gave us a room with four tables, which fit our group perfectly. It felt private, and we were comfortable the whole time.
Overall, Kitano Sushi was a wonderful experience. The great food, friendly service, and good prices make it a place we’ll definitely visit again. Highly recommend!

I order takeout from here about once a week and have been enjoying the food. My wife enjoys their salmon teriyaki and I always order the sushi appetizer which is always done well with nice sized rice balls and good cuts of fish. Have had other items and am generally satisfied. I have never eaten in the restaurant but the atmosphere is basic, but just fine overall.

The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the quality is unbeatable. You can really taste the difference compared to other places. If you love great sushi, this is the spot. The food was great, the music and the ambiance very cozy and everything. But what bugged me was our server, I got in with my girlfriend, we were NOT dressed properly I’ll tell you that, since we just wanted to eat, nothing fancy. Thing is, a woman takes our order and then after a while ANOTHER woman brings us our plate. We eat and the woman that took our order fils up my glass once. The total comes, I pay and she looks up the bills and says to me ” No tip? Why? Did I do something wrong? No tip included in the price see?”
Like hello? You want a tip for what exactly? For not even bringing my plate to the table and for filling my water glass? My girlfriend looked at me shocked.
Easy to say I doubt we are coming back.
