First time at Kitanda. Basic contemporary neighborhood coffee shop. Plenty of seating with several 2-4 seat tables with hard wood chairs and a couple cushioned relaxing chairs. The coffee and food are very good. I had the hot Brazilian latte that was creamy with a hint of sweet (as is the Brazilian way). I also tried the Kitanda bread egg, spinach and cheese sandwich. The bread is light, airy with a crisp outer crust and the definite taste of cheese. The sandwich, although basic and on the smaller side, was flavorful. The (mozzarella?) cheese made it unique. Prices are on par with other cafes and the counter staff was very pleasant and friendly.

Excellent coffee shop!! Found this hidden gem in Hunters Creek. Tried an egg, spinach cheese sandwich on their kitanda bread also tried a piece of kibe. Both were very good. Coffee and service was excellent. Can’t wait to come back and try their acai bowls!.

Maria and Amanda are amazing. They have wonderful customer service. Very friendly and professional. The food was excellent. The Brazilian bread tasted soft, fresh and delicious and the Brazilian coffee was also tasty. It’s coursing through me as I write this. My wife and I will definitely be back next time we are in the area. Highly recommend

Came here before work and it was absolutely amazing! The staff were great at giving me recommendations on what to get and overall super friendly. I ordered a Brazilian latte with a cream cheese kitanda bread and it was the perfect breakfast before work. Highly recommend stopping by!

We visited Kitanda for the first time on 3/7 with some friends and had a wonderful experience. The coffee was delicious, and the staff was very kind and friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to come back again today (3/9, around 8:40 am).

Unfortunately, our second visit was quite different. The staff member working this time did not seem as friendly, and it took about 35-40 min to receive our order of five coffees and two bowls. Normally we wouldn’t mind waiting, but the café was empty and there were no other orders ahead of us, so the wait felt unusually long.

We ordered the same drinks we had during our first visit, but this time the coffees did not taste good at all, which is weird since it took so long to make them.

We really enjoyed our first experience and hope this was just an off day, as we would love to see the quality and service be as great as it was during our first visit

This was a great find. My friend told me about it when I asked her to choose a lunch spot. Good food, nice staff and pretty neat sitting area. Enough parking and the place is very clean. Definitely going back!

We’re from Miami and were driving around this area in Orlando looking for a quick breakfast when we came across this great place. To my surprise, they have amazing pão de queijo (cheese bread) served sandwich-style – Simply delicious! The place is super clean and pleasant, and the service was 5 stars. Amanda was wonderful— so friendly. I would definitely come back! Thank you!!

What a friendly place! The woman behind the counter promptly deduced that it was our first time in the Brazilian coffee shop. She offered suggestions, so we took her up on them. The best thing? Coffee drinks in actual mugs! I’d give extra stars for that alone. But the sandwiches (pastrami and a bacon & egg) had delicious cheese on the Brazilian bread, which is made from tapioca flour (and therefore gluten free). Food was fresh & tasty. Coffee was frothy. Hunters Creek is lucky to have this. We’ll be back!
