This place was amazing! Walked in as soon as they opened at 11am for lunch and was seated right away. Ordered several plates of food to share. Everything was phenomenal. Hard to recommend which dishes to order because they were all fabulous. My (more) favorite 3 of the 6, surprisingly (to me at least), were the onigiri, egg salad sando, and chicken katsu sandwhich. But they knocked everything out of the park. The flavors of the onigiri, the milk bread, the cozy curry…yummm. And for dessert, I highly recommend the blueberry yuzu parfait. It was just lovely and perfect. Even the presentation of the utensils was beautiful. Our server, Savannah, was the absolute best! This was a very memorable meal!

Our experience at Kisser was superb. The beef tartar was the star of the show! The curry rice and creamy udon were also wonderful. All of the staff were extremely hospitable and made the experience that much more enjoyable.

Was able to jump on a reservation as soon as they opened up. This and Babychan have some the best bites in Nashville. We got the beef tartare, onigiri, ramen and udon. The beef tartare was a standout bc of the perfectly cooked crispy rice and flavor bomb. The clam ramen with some spicy oil was also delish. Def coming back again to try more!

Everything was so good!! Even with it being a busy Saturday we were able to be seated at a reasonable time and enjoyed a good variety of their menu items. Service was great and the food was even better! 10/10 would recommend if you want to try Japanese inspired cuisine!

My husband’s cousin is a foodie and highly recommended this place despite the wait, so we made the effort to walk over and wait outside for a table 30 minutes prior to opening on a Friday morning. It was definitely worth it in my opinion if you’re a fellow foodie like us. The whole place is an experience, from watching the food being prepared and the presentation of each of the dishes. We split the chirashi bowl as an appetizer. I got the chicken katsu sandwich and my husband got the beef udon. The yuzu lemonade was tart and refreshing. Everything was delicious, but honestly the best part and what stood out to me is watching the kitchen staff work efficiently and bring out orders so quickly. Beware: the actual space itself is very small. If you’re in the area and have the time, I would highly recommend trying this place. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

So worth the hype. We went on a weekday right before opening for lunchtime. A line had already formed, but we got seated. I understand that seating is very limited with just several large tables. However, the interior design is really cute and combined both Japanese and American aesthetic.
The food we had was absolutely amazing with amazing portion sizes and fairly priced. Everything tasted so well balanced with great flavor profile. We got the strawberry Matcha latte, two glasses of orange wine, chirashi bowl, creamy bacon udon carbonara, Chicken Katsu sandwich, beef, tartare, yakisoba noodles that you could actually taste the green tea in.
The pictures do not do the food justice. Would come back again! My only regret is that I didn’t have enough room for dessert.

The food was so good. Went for lunch, sat at the counter and ordered several small plates. Fabulous service and taste. Take all my money.

Such a cute and unique spot! I had heard there’s usually a 2-hour wait, so I went 15 minutes before they opened on a weekday. There was already a line forming, but it wasn’t too bad. We finally got to try it—and it was worth it! The food was delicious, and the green tea latte was also really good. I especially loved the warm and attentive service. The decor is beautifully minimal and gives off a true Japanese vibe. I’ll definitely be back!

We’re so glad they offer reservations now. We hadn’t visited as much as we’d like to in the past, due to not wanting to wait for a table, after driving in from Mt. Juliet. The food is stellar, as it always is. The Beef Tartare is our absolute fave, and the Chirashi bowl is a very close second. I tried the seasonal take on Udon this time, Bacon with creamy miso. Wow! So much umami. Service is fine, as usual, but the tables in the hallway are definitely second best to even the window counter. I’m glad they’re there, though, to accommodate all the hungry ones who flock here.
