This is a food truck parked in a truck turnaround on the east side of Mt. Comfort Rd. south of Wendy’s; generally there from mid-day to evening, M-F, weather permitting. What a gem of a place! Best tacos and burritos I’ve ever eaten; better than at the Mexican restaurant across the street. Delicious sandwiches also. Lunch bowls will fill you up for only $5. Oh, how I wish she had beer! If it’s a nice day, I’ll drive my little red convertible there and chit-chat with Dawn about the dramatic changes in the Mt. Comfort area over the last few years. Speaking of which, enjoy this place while you can, because she may get kicked out of her spot soon to make way for yet another truck stop.

I stopped by the food truck to see what the fuss was about. I got rewarded with Great food and excellent service. The owner, Dawn was full of personality, intelligence, and kindness. I ordered the burrito, OMG! The brisket meat was so delicious and tender. This is my new Friday stop.

Came across this place on maps while looking for something new and it DID NOT disappoint. I got a sandwich I believe called the “Elvis” which is essentially a beef brisket sandwich. She offers barbecue and a few of the classic toppings like lettuce and onion, but I have never been a big fan of barbecue sauce so mine was just pure brisket with a little red onion and I can’t describe how amazing it was. The brisket was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender and it had this indescribable savory flavor paired with a sweet bun that left me wishing I had ordered 2 more. On top of that one of the biggest things that caught my eye was how clean and well kept the kitchen looked which is a huge plus for me 10/10 would and WILL have again.

I’ve always loved food trucks, hidden Jem’s of wonderful food. I was at work and decided that I really wanted a salad, so I did a google search for fast food, and was feeling really disappointed with the low star ratings I was seeing until I saw one 5.0 review. I looked up thier menu, and they had a chicken salad. So I decided to try them out. $5 plus tax for a chicken salad with a bit of a Mexican flare, and it was absolutely delicious. If the rest of their food is as good as that chicken salad, then I would highly recommend.

Why are you going to the same fast food places? If you want a change of pace come over to Keep it Simply Shredded Meats or meats. Fantastic home cook pork chicken and beef very reasonably priced fresh food. Pleany of room for big rig parking. Easy in and out.
