We stumbled upon Kishuya when our other usual ramen spot was closed, and we’ve been back a handful of times since! The food is delicious, staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is casual and authentic. They have a big menu and lots of options to share and the ramen portions are large! It’s a great local spot and we’ll continue to come back!

Kishuya is by far my families most frequently visited restaurant. Its food is delicious and authentic. It is always hot and fresh and comes to the table very quickly. The servers are extremely kind and helpful. Everything is reasonably priced and there are so many choices. My favorite thing here is the shrimp Bao buns and the Ramen. I would recommend this restaurant to absolutely anyone no matter what their flavor palette was!

Ended up here for dinner because my daughter really wanted ramen. We had the Kara-age chicken (my choice) and edamame (her choice) to start with, both were decent. We both tried a different ramen, I had a spicy one from the specials menu which I enjoyed, it was really good. They have a kids menu with affordable choices but of course my kid didn’t want anything from there and she only ate half her ramen and didn’t care for the pork belly or really most of the toppings. We finished off our meal with the mango pudding which I thought was amazing. I thought it was definitely kid friendly, lots of families with kids dining the day I went. Service was ok, a bit on the slower side but I guess they were a bit busy. Overall I thought it was pretty pricey and not 100% worth it which means next time I would look for a different ramen spot in the area to explore.

The ramen itself was good, not great, not bad. It didn’t knock my socks off but found it to be pretty on par with other good ramen restaurants and a great option in the area to satisfy a remn craving. The pork gyoza however lacked flavor, wouldn’t reccomend.

Mara is so amazing, and very informative! Delicious food and amazing waitress as well is Kitomi! Surprised me with a delicious green tea ice cream dessert, YUMMY! Their Aburi tuna is so yummy. The Shoyu Tonkotsu and the Spicy Garlic Miso ramen soup are delicious!

Food here is delicious! Someone said there’s better Ramen in Manhattan, I’m sure there’s better Ramen in Japan as well so what’s the point? For something local this is a very good option unless you wish to spend gas tolls traffic and parking to go to “the city” for slightly better Ramen which is just an opinion.

I’ve been going here for a few years. Honestly, it is my FAVORITE ramen place of all time… and I say that with a full chest.
To some, fancy ramen is best. But this casual ramen place feels like home. I always get the miso chicken ramen, with the spice bomb on the side. I finish my bowl every single time. The broth is rich, the chicken is tender and flavorful, and it’s the perfect portion. My little brother always begs to go every week. My friend with Celiac’s has no trouble at all getting accommodations for her gluten-free needs.
And on top of that, it’s an AMAZING price.
Service is four stars, though. Although the staff is very nice, the service is a bit slow and inconsistent. It seems like the staff sometimes forgets to tend to their table… maybe it’s a staffing issue? Sometimes I have waited over 25 minutes for my ramen, while some days I only have to wait 10-15 minutes.

Food is fine, the wings are too chewy and not great. Ramen is really their best thing besides the chicken katsu buns. There is one very loud Puerto Rican waitress they have who was having an across the room argument with one of the owners, pretty unprofessional. When said waitress was asked to remove an unwanted shrimp dish from the bill she refused (“rock shrimp”, tiny portion and bland so not worth the price of 17 dollars). She spent the rest of the evening catering to a personal table of her family members. This place would do well to be rid of her entirely. Dessert tasted weird and was dry, went unfinished.

It’s a good sign when a restaurant is crowded with content customers and the food looks authentic. But that meant we also had to wait for our table since they don’t take reservations. I was ok with that since the wait wasn’t too long and the food was pretty good. I ordered the pork ramen (can’t remember which one the husband ordered) and our companions ordered the vegetarian ramen and the fried rice. I liked the ramen but thought that the broth could use a little more flavor. I was also surprised and a little disappointed that the noodles didn’t have a bite (were they a little overcooked or a lower quality noodle, I couldn’t tell).
We also got a lot of appetizers. The gyoza were good (in general, I usually don’t like the filling of these because there’s too much cabbage but it was not the case with these) and the crispy shrimp were good too. We didn’t get to try the shishito peppers because they never came out but we saw that we were still charged for them afterwards but it was too late to go back, so buyer beware.

Had dinner here and I had a great time. The ramen was delicious. The flavors were well balanced and the noodles were well cooked. I had their tiramisu and it was tasty. I would argue that it’s better than some tiramisu I’ve had at some Italian places. My opinion.
