For a nice sit down restaurant where you can go in wearing jeans or an evening dress, this is the place. Its not a typical Greek restaurant, nor is it a expensive steakhouse. There is something on the menu for everyone. Excellent appatizers, soups, salads, entrees, seafood and even rack of lamb ! I have never had a bad meal or experience here ! And again, there prices are relatively cheap for the high quality food and service you get here. It’s also nice sitting in the back room with huge windows all around that look out to the goats and donkey. When I want a comfort place, with comfort food- I’ll be at Kis. It seems like you forget if you had a bad day. I love this place! The owner is also adorable and very friendly.

I was excited trying out this relic. Unfortunately they dropped the ball on cooking my steak to order. Ordered medium rare, got medium well, tasted nasty! We were pressed for time and we didn’t have time to wait for them to try again. Nothing taken off bill? We enjoyed dining al fresco though. Would have been nice for the server to keep drinks topped instead of having to ask every single time.

The owner and staff are very friendly. The restaurant is decorated for the holiday. We tried the baked French onion soup, and it was good. We also tried the filet trio with mash and asparagus, the patty melt, and the Beef Wellington. Everything was cooked just right and tasted great. We will definitely visit again.

Food was good specially the Calamari and Shrimp De Jong. The lobster was SUPER SUPER expensive. The menu stated saying it was “Market Rate” but when the bill came out, the dish turned out to be $90+. The customer should be made aware if the price is this high.

You can tell this place was very popular in its heyday. Definitely appeals to an older crowd. A little musty. The drinks are VERY strong. I wouldn’t come back for the food. Nothing super wow, and it’s not vegetarian friendly. I think several of the owners were sitting at the tables drinking all night. Just an odd thing to see. Like who cares, but just different. Not sure I’d come back for the drinks either. They were very strong but didn’t have much flavor to overcome the straight up vodka.
