Came for ice cream. I ordered the chocolate peanut butter which was chocolate ice cream with peanut butter ribbons. The chocolate was rich. My husband ordered the oatmeal cookie which was in vanilla ice cream. We both enjoyed it.
The staff was nice.

Kirk’s has every flavor you can imagine, the cases were packed with several different flavors to choose from! This is by far the best ice cream we have ever bought! If you haven’t tried their ice cream parlor you should stop in and pick your flavor because I am most sure they will have it for you! So good!! Thanks guys!

Great old school ice cream shop. They don’t make their own ice cream, but they have a nicely curated selection of southern and national brands. The portions are huge and the staff are great.

We visited 4 ice cream parlors during our 7 day vacation in Myrtle Beach. And concluded that this place was number 1. The nice young lady that helped us was courtesy and helpful. Prices were reasonable and one scoop seems like two. Lots of options of ice cream , cones, bowls, and sizes. All set in a vintage 1800s atmosphere, with lots of seating and parking.

I found this ice cream parlor via Google reviews during vacation. They have the highest rating in the area for a reason. Upon entering the ice cream parlor, we were kindly welcomed by Victoria and Nick! Victoria and Nick were both friendly, helpful, and patient as we figured out which one of the delicious flavors to choose from – there were at least 40 flavors. We tried a few samples as well. The prices were extremely affordable, and the portion of ice cream was a lot. The picture shown is a double scoop. I love that they didn’t put the two different flavors on top of each other. Instead, the scoops were placed side by side so I could enjoy each flavor at the same time instead of waiting to finish one flavor and then getting to the bottom for the next one. I highly recommend this small business to anyone who visits Myrtle Beach!

Perfect, dense, extra cold, chewy ice cream. $6+ for a very generous sundae. Busy, but they get you in and out quick.

Sweet visit!
On our last trip to Myrtle Beach for our October family vacation, we made a stop at Kirks Ice Cream Parlor for the very first time. The one thing I can say, above all about this place is the nostalgia is on point! It was like stepping back in time in every inch of the establishment. What an awesome feeling!
The gorgeous light fixtures, the warm wood walls, decor pieces, and everything clear down to the vintage games when you first walk in the door send you back in time.
The worker that was in the establishment that day was wonderful! She was so very pleasant, always had a smile on her face, and looked like that she genuinely enjoys her job. If I lived there, I would come back every day just to see her.
Excited to pop in on a return trip!
Wheelchair accessible parking lot.
Coffee is served here.
Takeout is available.

I CAN NOT say enough wonderful things about Kirk’s. Suzanne was outstanding. She was fun, kind, and knowledgeable!! There is a reason they have been in business for almost 46 years. Oh, and the ice cream was delicious huge scoops, and very reasonably priced. It’s definitely the only place to get ice cream in Myrtle Beach.

Try mixing Sweet Black Cherry and Chocolate Fudge Brownie… BOLD combo. Creamy, amazing flavors and the most friendly people in town! My family is in town on vacation and made a great decision to stop at Kirk’s 1890 Ice Cream. The nostalgic ambiance is wonderful, the employees are cheerful, but the ice cream steals the show. We decided on peanut butter cup, sweet black cherry, chocolate fudge brownie and cookies n cream. Make this a MUST try on your list of ice cream stops.
