We are a family owned business that has been open since August 12th 1992. We have over 40 flavors to choose from. We have a dining area and also an outdoor gazebo area that you can enjoy your ice cream. We are closed January through March (will reopen sometime in March, depending on the weather).

Kirke’s has been serving amazing ice cream for years. There are so many options of flavors and large to go containers are also available. There is a lot of indoor seating as well as outdoor with a lovely shaded area filled with benches, a gazebo and small bridge. I got a scoop of peanut batter banana and a scoop of confetti cake batter and my daughter got a scoop of watermelon sorbet, which she said reminded of her of Dolewhip which is a total win in her book

I won a half gallon of ice cream from Kirke’s Homeade Ice Cream that they offered from WWVA 1170 AM. I made the one hour drive to Ohio from Greene County Pennsylvania. I purchased a famous Kirke’s Flight and bought two other half gallons of ice cream. My family and very close friends were delighted and very impressed with the ice cream and will make another trip when these half gallons are gone. Great job Kirke thank you for your work and the half gallon.

I recently was visiting family in Wheeling, WV when I stubbled upon Kirke’s ice cream inside of the candy shop in Olgebay. I have been lactose intolerant for the better part of 25 years, so needless to say, ice cream options have been fairly limited (at least ones that are decent tasting). I tried Kirke’s non-dairy vanilla ice cream made with almond milk and I have to say that it was the best tasting non-dairy ice cream I have had in my entire life! Even though I live in Northeast Ohio, I will be making a special visit to Kirke’s ice cream shop on my next trip down! Thank you for making ice cream enjoyable again!!!
