Generally, we have decent things to say about this place. However, TODAY IS DIFFERENT. This interaction probably turned us away from eating here anymore.
We had a reservation for 9 people for my son’s birthday. The birthday boy and our younger son wanted the all-you-can-eat sushi — which this place proudly advertises.
Instead, we were told that the entire party must order all-you-can-eat or NO ONE can. That’s not a policy — THAT’S A MONEY GRAB, and a pathetic one at that. This was never mentioned during the reservation and only brought up once we arrived. Then, they had the audacity to tell us that the two who wanted all you can eat (one of them whos birthday was being celebrated) had to EAT AT A DIFFERENT TABLE. Kind of defeats the purpose of celebrating a birthday together.
So instead of celebrating a birthday, we were forced to leave. Zero customer service. Zero common sense. Zero money paid to them. We went to Fuji Sushi in Covington and had a great experience.
Save yourself the headache and skip this place.

Primarily went here for the drinks, but the vibe kept us there a lot longer. Bartenders Jordan and Nick were amazing a did a great job at keeping everyone entertained and engaged. From what I tasted at the bar, I can only assume the rest of the food is just as good, so I am planning another trip there to be able to give the food a more fair rating.

It was my birthday and this is a restaurant that became my favorite 10 years ago when I lived in the area. It did not disappoint. It was clean, the food was yummy and my kids first Hibachi experience was perfect. I had the shrimp and salmon hibachi dinner. Delicious

The host was nice, the server was attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. I went on a Saturday around 5:30pm ish. I got the steak teriyaki entree; it came with hibachi rice, clear soup, and salad.

We went for the lunch special. There were 6 of us including a 1 and 2 year old. The server was so nice kept our drinks filled didn’t seem bothered by us ordering something new every time she came to the table. The mess the children made didn’t bother her either. I was happy to find things my picky grandbaby would eat.

I went in for a quick meal about 9:30 pm on Saturday night. I was seated immediately, and my waiter was at the table almost immediately. It wasn’t a slow night. There were quite a few people inside eating and coming in after me. The food was delicious. I’ll definitely be back.

Used to be a great place with high standrrds. Today, we had burnt stir fry in our habachi rice, were given plastic utensils like a church picnic and were charged $1 per Sriracha squirt. Prices have gone up and quality had gone down.
