Kirin China Grill

Dined here on a whim. The parking lot was relatively empty, but looking at reviews, it seems most people get delivery. I can tell you, dining in, the food is excellent! The restaurant is open, has a nice décore and most importantly, fresh hot food. I had beef with mixed vegetables and hubby had S/S chicken. The portions are generous. The beef in my dish was tender, the sauce well done without being overly salty and the veggies were absolutely cooked to perfection! Not raw, not mushy and even though thicker cut, just the Goldilocks of doneness. The chicken comes with the sweet/sour sauce for dipping, rather than being drenched before it gets to the table. What a great way to serve it. I even tried a piece(tender chicken in a nicely done batter) and I usually avoid this dish because I’ve always had it served tossed in the sauce already and it inevitably gets soggy. We will definitely be back, or order ahead and bring home. The menu is HUGE, so it will take us a while to try all the menu items that look tasty.

We were in the area and I came across this restaurant from Google Maps search and decided to take the bait. I’m glad I did. I was surprised for such good dishes in somewhat remote area of west coast of Florida. This place is probably one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in Florida. It’s definetly worth checking out. You will not regret it.

If I could give ten stars I would! We’re not from the area and stopped here after a long day at the springs we’re staying at a nearby hotel and googled places to eat I must say me and my husband had the best Chinese food we have ever had! I would definitely recommend trying this place a thousand time it was fresh, hot and delicious! Our server was new but did his best the whole atmosphere is amazing we will come out of our way to eat here.

Stay away!!! ***ZERO STARS*** My wife was admitted into Oak Hill Hospital for a week and I was looking for some Chinese close by. This place had the best star rating (without reading deeper into the bad reviews, and I recommend you do) so we ended up ordering to go from here. When I got it back up into the hospital room and started unpacking it I noticed they didn’t give us any rice for the entrees. Ok no big deal right? I immediately noticed the Wonton soup broth was cloudy and my wife and daughter changed their minds on having any. I poured a lot of the broth down the sink to get to the Wontons that we’re all at the very bottom. Well there’s a reason for that. They Wontons were not cooked. It was like taking raw dough, and putting it in hot broth. I made the mistake of putting one in my mouth and I had to spit it out. Nasty. Never had raw uncooked Wontons before, but let me tell you, it’s not edible and I will be lucky if I don’t get really sick from it. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR FAR AWAY from this dump!!! ***ZERO STARS*** I wish I read more of the bad reviews before going to this place. ***Edit in response to owner’s comment*** Yes I realize your soup isn’t served with rice, however your entrees like the sweet and sour chicken, which I ordered, does! The broth wasn’t the issue. The Wontons were not cooked! They were all together in a pile on the bottom and were RAW dough!!! ZERO STARS! I hope your Restaurant gets shut down so no one else gets ripped off or even worse, gets food poisoning! After reading the recent reviews it’s only a matter of time!

Excellent service. The food came out quick. Please ty of options, but not too many so that you feel overloaded. The best fountain coke I’ve had in a long time. The settings were perfect. (If that matters to anyone…I appreciate a good fountain drink). Portions are good and prices good. I would def. Stop in here again.

I had not been to Kirin in quite a while. When we pulled in there wasn’t any cars in the parking lot at all, which was very unusual. We did go on waited on and seated quickly. Ordered egg rolls as a appetizers, they were brought out within minutes, they looked liked they had been sitting and then reheated over, when tasted very dry, I was very disappointed. Mentioned it to waited he did agreed. I have had their egg rolls many times, they were delicious, these were . Won’t order them again. Lunch special moo goo gai pan was good. Won ton soup was excellent. Fried rice was good. Something has changed at Kiran. Every thing use to be excellent.
