Second visit, even better than the first! Love this place!
Let’s start this off by talking about the amazing flavors and over-all taste of the food. I’m not a sushi guy, so I don’t know, but a lot of people mention that they have great sushi options. What I DO know is how this place is the best option for Asian food for many miles. The Chicken Pad Thai was awesome, and the Teriyaki Beef was tender and well seasoned. My daughter enjoyed the spring rolls and Coconut Chicken as well.
I also have to mention that I ate in, when this place is definitely not set up for table service. Don’t get me wrong, you can absolutely eat in, but you get to-go containers to eat from, have to pay first, and the flow of the restaurant isn’t really designed for anything but take out.
Sadly the chefs assume that pad thai is spicy with Udang when not asked. They should never assume spicy as many people can’t handle the taste of spicy.
The only other negative is they aren’t open 7 days a week, but I know it is hard to keep restaurant labor employed in today’s economy.
*Excellent find in this area, food was great! Already ordered twice in a week!
**edit** recent experience today, not the best. At first I really liked this place, food is fresh and it’s cool for this area, a nice addition. However – I haven’t ordered takeout in a while and was really looking forward to getting a couple things for myself & daughter. We haven’t been feeling well and plain lomein noodles are her favorite. I decided to try the spicy miso Ramen with shrimp .. figured this might help clear the sinuses a little maybe? and be delicious. I was pretty disappointed:( my Ramen only had a couple of “veggies” one being corn and the other just was something inedible, couldn’t bite through it- and the big disappointment which might be nothing to some but for me, was the egg. It was a fried egg. Where’s the traditional Ramen egg? I wad looking forward to that! Maybe this is how they do it? I don’t know. Lastly, there was no spice. The whole thing was very bland and I ended up having to cook my own veggies to add to it. With tax and tip at almost $27 – for just 2 things, pretty disappointed and didn’t end up eating mine. I will say the shrimp was good, it usually is. It was fresh. Everything else, not good today. I added a photo for egg reference. could have made this at home.
