Tonight we took our family to Kirin Asian Fusion, and it was absolutely delicious.
My wife and I had been here a few months ago and enjoyed it enough that we wanted to come back with the kids. Both visits we had Jason as our server, and he was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful with the menu. We asked several times about spice levels, and his recommendations were spot on, maybe even a little conservative, which we appreciated with kids at the table.
We started with the California Dream roll, and it was a hit, even with kids who aren’t big sushi fans. The crab rangoon was good, though a little drier than last time. The egg rolls, on the other hand, were very fresh and packed with flavor.
For entrées, we had the coconut shrimp and the General Tso’s chicken, and both were excellent. My wife ordered the Hunan chicken. It was good, but not quite as memorable as some of the other dishes. Several of the kids ordered orange chicken, which was really well done. If you’re used to a very mild orange chicken with barely any citrus flavor, this one might surprise you. It wasn’t overpowering at all, just well balanced, and you could actually taste the orange, which I prefer.
The staff was friendly, the food came out quickly, and everything was hot and fresh. The restaurant also appears to have been recently remodeled, and the space feels bright and clean.
Overall, it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

This place is so welcoming! Immediately greeted and seated. Service was very friendly and quick. Served some complimentary sushi after ordering. Food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the coconut shrimp bento box.

The food was packed with flavor and the portions were generous! The ramen was delicious, rich broth and perfectly cooked noodles. We also tried the orange chicken and it had great taste with a big serving size. The restaurant itself was very nice inside and spotless, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

This was our first experience at Kirin Asian Fusion restaurant. As we walked in, the ambience was warm, comfortable, and inviting. It’s well lit without being overly bright. It’s a very nice balance between neutral warm and tasteful color accents.
Our server was friendly, polite, and quick with our drink and appetizer order.
The restaurant was full and people seem to really enjoy their meals. Despite how busy they were our food order came out promptly. It was hot, freshly prepared and tasty! I had the Thai curry and my buddy had the Golden Nest Delight. Both were excellent and are plentiful!
Then we tried sushi rolls. The head Itamae is a culinary expert. You can tell he takes pride in his creations. Not only were they delicious, they were artistically designed and pleasing to the eye.
Great employees, and locally owned by members of the community. Will definitely be coming back- 10 out of 10!!

Wow, my recent experience at Kirin Asian Fusion was fantastic! The food here is top-notch. We started with their ramen, and it was incredibly flavorful—rich broth and perfectly cooked noodles.
Then came the sushi, and it truly shone. The salmon and tuna nigiri were pristine; you could really taste how fresh the fish was. We also tried the Rock ‘N’ Roll sushi, and it was super tasty and well-balanced.
To top it all off, the sushi chef was so thoughtful and kind, sending out a complimentary appetizer sushi snack for us to try. It was a lovely, unexpected touch that just cemented this as one of my new favorite spots.

The sushi is 10 out of 10 the best sushi in Sioux City! The ramen was so full of flavor too. I had zero complaints! If you go here you wont be disappointed! All of the service here is spectacular! We ordered 12 meals for pick-up for our work meeting and everything was top notch. Every person enjoyed their food, the price was fantastic and service amazing. The server showed up with menus to our workplace since we couldn’t see their lunch menu online. They pack everyone’s meals carefully and labeled with everyone’s names to ensure no mix up. Food was ready for us in time and we all enjoys. We will be ordering again.

New Favorite Spot for Sushi & Ramen Lovers!
I was really excited to try the newly renovated menu here, and I’m happy to say, it did not disappoint. As a sushi fanatic, it’s been tough finding high-quality sushi in Sioux City, but this place has officially become a new favorite of mine.
The atmosphere inside is beautiful clean, modern, and welcoming. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the overall experience even better.
We ordered ramen and sushi, and both were outstanding. The ramen had a rich, flavorful broth with a great portion size, truly comforting and well balanced. The sushi was equally impressive. The texture was spot-on (not overly mushy like some places), and the flavors were clean and fresh. We also tried some of the deep-fried rolls, which were perfectly cooked, not over or under-fried and served immediately after preparation, which made a noticeable difference in taste and texture.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi and ramen. Sioux City finally has a spot that delivers on both quality and flavor. Can’t wait to go back!
