Came here for the very first time and was excited to try this place out for diner. The place looked fancy and was looking forward to tasting their steaks. The waitress, was friendly but not very professional. We sat at one end of their long table during a business meeting/presentation in the last room in the back. Our waitress basically ignored us and served the older ladies in front of us and the people to our right, and served us last.
I ordered the 7 oz Filet miñon, a margarita, and water. When I got my steak, it came in two small pieces, while everyone in our table got a whole piece. Asked the waitress about it and she sad that the chef probably weighted it and gave me two small pieces. To me, it looked like two leftover pieces or they were cut from a left over steak.
I Tod the waitress that I wasn’t going to it and if they can cook and replace them with one “whole” piece instead and gave her my plate.
A few minutes later she came back with a 7oz on piece.
Ordered a Margarita and it came back too strong and despite of me telling the waitress that I wanted the drink with light ice, it came back with lots of ice and little alcohol. I drank water instead!
Very disappointed on the service and drinks.
I won’t be coming to this place again!
I suggest you go to another steak place that is worth your money!

Kirby’s Steakhouse in San Antonio delivered exactly the kind of experience we were hoping for. The atmosphere was elegant and relaxing, the service was exceptional, and the food was phenomenal. The steak was perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with the sides and wine. It was the perfect way to end my time in San Antonio — an evening marked by great taste, comfort, and outstanding service. P.s. Our mashed potatoes were very cold when they first arrived. We let our waiter know, and he promptly took them back and brought us another order. Unfortunately, the second serving was only lukewarm. We didn’t want to mention it again a second time, so we just left it at that.
I also wanted to mention that the first martini I ordered was fantastic. It was made by the first bartender and was excellent. When I ordered a second one, it was made by a different bartender and tasted quite different, so I returned it. When our original bartender came back, he remade the martini and it was excellent again. The staff was very nice about it.. Aside from those small issues, everything else was great. The steak and shrimp were phenomenal.

Kirby’s Steakhouse San Antonio was absolutely wonderful. Ashley made everything happen, and Emoni took exceptional care of my family throughout the evening. My mom passed away two years ago, and her last birthday was celebrated at Kirby’s. On her birthday this year, we were given the same private room, the Library, which made the night incredibly intimate and meaningful as we honored her memory. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and every accommodation was met. They truly went above and beyond to make the evening special for our family.

The service is nice. Everyone was extremely polite, quick, and attentive. But the food just wasn’t worth the price. The filet was extremely small and, surprisingly dry. The Caesar salad, was abysmal! How can you mess up a salad? The cocktails, however were great!

Held a retirement luncheon here from 1200-4pm before the restaurant was actually open. Everything was perfect!! EVERYONE working that day from the manager, to the kitchen staff, bar staff and servers were absolutely amazing. Josh (manager) and Ashley (coordinator) were more than professional and accommodating. We had a large group of close to 80 and one would expect delays but everything was timely and delicious! Recommend Kirby’s for your private event !

This place has it all. From service to greetings. Ambience is phenomenal and the food is exquisite!!!. 1st time here and I gotta say I will be back. So much to choose from. Steak lovers this is the place to try. Their prime new york strip was so perfectly cooked that it was so tender, seasoned and delectable. Wife’s plate was also good chicken Florentine which was also phenomenal. Drinks were on point and very enjoyable. If you’ve passed by this spot and wondered, give this establishment a chance and you will be amazed at what customer service is all about and quality of food. I was and will definitely be back to post more on that cowboy cut steak.

Justin, Jane, and Ty are excellent. It’s always a pleasure to have a great experience and have staff that not only care about doing a good job, but are having a great time doing it as well.
Came to Kirby’s to celebrate a special occasion. This is a bit pricier than our usual night out, and it’s always a gamble if it’ll be a good experience. We got every cent of our money’s worth, and we will return as often as we can. Food was phenomenal! Our waitstaff gave us many excellent recommendation’s, and all of them hit the spot.
