The sushi is excellent,. And has gotten even better in the last year or so. Service is also excellent, Jenny takes great care of the customers. Special lady. We recently went to a new sushi place in Greenwich with high review scores and much buzz. Spent a lot of money, and didn’t think it was nearly as good as Kirari. Kirari is my go to for sushi satisfaction.

Pretty disappointing overall. Rolls were overpriced and simply sub par. Fish was not as fresh as it could have been, the place is old and smells of the 90’s and cigarettes. Staff is relatively discombobulated with the GM going out for a smoke every 8 minutes or so. Not really sure why all the great reviews on this place. I live up the street and will never return, plenty of other great options in the area.

I went for a late Sunday lunch and did not regret it: the atmosphere was quiet and traditional, the service polite and friendly, the food very good. Particularly delicious was the Chirashi Sushi Deluxe: large fresh cuts of a variety of fish on a nice bed of rice.
