My son and I are so happy to have discovered this gem in Glen Head!! We’ve now eaten here twice and will certainly be back soon. Beautiful restaurant and deliciously fresh food. My son and I love Japanese food and this restaurant made us feel like we were dining in Shibuya…decor, service, sushi chefs and the food made us feel like we were back dining in Tokyo! They even have authentic Japanese style tables (we will make sure to wear socks so we may try this next time LOL). We got the sushi for two and every item was fresh and tasty. The miso soup is great. The tri color sushi amazing. I tried a Tokyo Roll this time and it was fantastic. Loved all the flavors going on there. We ate so much this time we could not fit dessert in and that is a shame because during our first visit here my son got the fried ice cream and I got the fried bananas and they were super!! Next time we have to save a little room for dessert. Service was also fantastic, with each person we encountered treating us like a family member, it was a truly wonderful experience.

I ordered Soba noodles with seafood in hot broth but they provided it with ramen noodles. I then called the staff and they insisted that this is Soba noodles. As a person who lived in Japan for 8 years and frequented Soba noodle restaurants, I can clearly identify which is Soba noodles or Ramen noodles or Udon noodles. So, I donot recommend anyone visiting Kiraku restaurant to order soba noodles.

Decent sushi for this area. Wide selection of items on menu. Moderately priced. Tight parking lot. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would return to try more rolls but overall nothing spectacular. Typical trendy sushi place!!!

My daughter and I share a birthday. It’s tonight. We reserved a table where you can cross your feet and have some privacy with your family. It was a Wednesday night, not busy. The staff is very nice. The food is always great. My wife and I decided on a Sushi boat. The sushi was good and fresh. We had mentioned to the waitress that it was our birthday. Before the check arrive, a platter with unbelievable delicious pineapple and orange wedges arrived at the table. Small touches of detail make a difference on the experience of the meal. Thank you to the waitress that made our Birthday a little extra special.
