Run and get Sam and his wife Sanela’s delicious pastries coffee and nourishing food before they leave to start their own restaurant elsewhere. This tiny kiosk provides a sense of family and comfort in the most unexpected place- a hospital lobby. Good people provide good food and drink to those who most benefit from it- the sick, their families and the healing staff. 100% recommend!

This little kiosk in the hospital lobby has wonderful coffee, pastries, bagels, and other baked goods, worth stopping at even if you are not going to the hospital. Catering and special orders are also available. Owner operated and very friendly service. See the pictures of some of the baked goods that were available today.
Hospital parking is free here.

This little hidden gem in the hospital lobby was truly amazing! Sam greeted us with a warm smile and the sense of family, you don’t find that warmth in many places nowadays. The feeling that someone truly cares. while making your coffee he talks with you, this is such a great feeling to speak with someone who loves what they do and it shows! We were waiting for a family member while they were in Surgery and we found Sam’s Coffee the best! The bread his wife makes is amazing along with the Banana walnut bread was simply mouth watering! Thank you for sharing your warmth and love of what you do with others! You Truly left an great impression! If we are back in this area we will stop in just to have coffee and pastries from this amazing kiosk!!

I had the absolute privilege of meeting Sam the man the other day in his adorable kiosk serving scrumptious cookies- homemade by his wife. His kiosk is located in the lobby of the Pascack Valley Hackensack University Hospital in Westwood. His coffee was absolute perfection and the cookies were the best you will ever taste.. and so much more is baked into this experience with love. Sam is a gentleman and makes entering a hospital calming. People actually come to his kiosk for coffee, cookies, bread ——without even having anyone in the hospital to visit -because they love Sam, his amazing cup of coffee and all his goodies that much. I am in awe of Sam and I’m now a forever patron. Everyone, please go meet Sam give him a big hug. It is well deserved.!

I was taking my mother for her routine check up… and the smell of wonderful coffee filled the whole lobby of the hotel. The gentleman at the cafe explained that his coffee beans come from Italy. He has a charismatic personality and will talk to you in length about where the beans come from and how his wife bakes all the goods. Truly, a wonderful experience for what I thought was going to be a boring day. This coffee is not bitter at all, but is stronger than any espresso I’ve ever had! Thank you!

Stopped here for a quick breakfast while my gf was getting surgery and had a great conversation with the man running it! His wife makes all of the authentic Italian pastries and they are delightful. I had a biscotti and orange cranberry cake! The coffee is also delicious. They really care about what they’re selling you 🙂 Thanks for the yummy breakfast and entertaining conversation!
