We celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday here and it was such a memorable night. The omakase was incredible, the chutoro and tuna tartar were our absolute favorites! Chef Ezra explained the menu with so much care and passion which made the evening feel really special with great conversation. The vibe was warm and welcoming, and the staff were amazing, catering to us throughout the night. A perfect spot for a birthday celebration. We’ll definitely be back if we’re in Seville!

Very beautiful Japanese restaurant in Sevilla (a bit hidden)
Modern and elegant interior
Nice wine list
Entrée with a yellowtail sashimi with yuzu and a twist …nicely cold , very tasty ..perfect to debate if the fish is correctly sliced (quite thick)
Sushis for main ..a mix of scallops, white fish ,salmon and tuna.. strangely , the scallop sushi was exceptional, the tuna very nice , the salmon so so (IMO)

Overall , a great experience
Will I go back ? YES, this week !

An absolutely exceptional experience! The food was top-tier, with incredibly fresh ingredients and perfect flavor combinations. Beyond the amazing sushi, the service was outstanding—the chef was professional, kind, and incredibly patient. It truly made the afternoon special. Highly recommended for any sushi lover!

I have been to Kinu several times and also been to Japan more times than I can count, the experience at this marvel, hidden close to the cathedral is a fresh breathe of air when looking to avoid the typical fusion. The dishes are creative, taking inspiration from Andalucia but also respecting the Japanese cuisine, the sake menu is vast and has a little bit for everyone, even the connoisseurs, staff is lovely and attentive. Only drawback is its on the pricier side, but I gladly pay to have ingredients of this level.

KINU in Seville delivers an outstanding omakase experience that feels both refined and personal. Each course showcased exceptional ingredients prepared with obvious care and precision. The flavors were clean yet full, highlighting the freshness of the fish and the balance of seasoning in every bite. The presentation matched the taste elegant without pretension.

Service was friendly and attentive throughout, helping create an inviting, relaxed atmosphere. It’s the kind of dining experience where you leave genuinely satisfied, both by the food and the thoughtful pacing of the meal. A top choice in Seville for anyone who appreciates Japanese cuisine.

Ok, I just popped in by curiosity, but what an amazing time.

The atmosphere is so calm, the staff top tier professional and the food marvelous.

The menu is small, but the appropriate word is RESERVED.

At the moment of getting the bill, I just asked if it was a signature restaurant, but the waiter he told me the restaurant was close to Michelin Star.

I used to work as a head waitress on a top grade restaurant, so I easily noticed about the professionalism. I encouraged them to get that merit. Totally deserved if you get.

Fish is better than average, sushi is a bit small, after eating a few , didn’t feel full and left after paying nearly 100euro per person

Starting from the decoration, atmosphere and hospitality everything was impressive! Excellent high quality of food (many products coming from Japan) every single “dish” was very delicious and so savoury! You must give a try to “Barra Omakase” as it’s as unique as it sounds. The chef is cooking in front of you and explaining everything about the food. It was an unforgettable experience and truly the best choice for celebrating my birthday. I had the most original birthday cake and we also made some friends (couple which were sat next to us). This place has be on your “Must try” restaurants in Sevilla!!!

Don’t listen to bad reviews about that place! The quality of the product is insane (only wild fish and seafood, rice and seaweed from Japan etc), and it just can’t (and shouldn’t!) be cheap. Extremely delicious, explosion of tastes; perfect ambience and beautiful presentation of each course; a lot of respect to the tradition of sushi. Big menu gets you just pleasantly full, without suffering of overeating.

It’s not a real omakase in my personal opinion and experience. The food is with quality, service is good, however it’s not really Japanese cuisine for me.

The sushi rice is too sour and the chief is not experienced enough in making sushi due to the rice is too lose. The soup is not hot enough and no hot dish to warm up the stomach after cold plates.

Some of the service I couldn’t not agree: didn’t ask first regarding to clients preference, together has no written menu for client to check. For example, I don’t like scallops which is not because I am allergy to it or not. Simply i don’t like and eat it, until I saw the chief brought out then I know there is scallop dish.

There is no service hot green tea which is the must for fine Japanese dining regardless if customer require it or not.

The last, I am a bit annoyed by broken dishes which the restaurant claim it’s broken due to the shipment from Japan and they want to keep it as the concept of wabi-sabi (?). I am okay to use some cracked plats however it’s better to smooth it first.

It’s nice to try, but for almost 180 euro per person including one sake, I’ll say it’s not the best choice for Japanese dinning.
