We absolutely love coming here. From the moment you come in your greated with the most amazing staff members and taken to a table right away. The I pad is easy to use to order anything you wish on it as all you can eat. The food is delicious and it comes out fast . It’s fun to try new items with a table of friends.
The ice cream at the end is a absolute must every time. The best ice cream in town !
At most all you can eat sushi places In Barrie we get rushed out the door but here you are welcomed and not rushed out. We love coming here for the hospitality and good food.

This is a wonderful sushi place! Ordered the set with Red dragon, roll with tuna (which is almost the same as a red dragon but with tuna on top) and the third one we asked to switch to black dragon with eel. Sushi were great, fish was fresh, the shrimp was crunchy and juicy.
The only thing, they do not serve the alcohol in this restaurant.

Kino Sushi has quickly become one of my favorite places to unwind and enjoy my ultimate comfort food. It’s my go-to spot in Barrie when I’m craving something fresh, satisfying, and delicious. I always go for the dinner option, and without fail, I fall in love all over again with their salmon dishes—especially the sashimi and the spicy salmon roll. Everything tastes so fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor!
I’ve tried many sushi spots not just in Barrie but also in other countries, and Kino is truly top-notch. The consistency and quality keep me coming back once or twice a month since I moved here.
Also, I have to mention one standout staff member—a lovely lady who’s always friendly, accommodating, and full of energy. I wish I had caught her name! Her warm and attentive service really elevates the dining experience, especially compared to some of the other staff who can seem a bit grumpy (maybe just busy—but hey, a smile goes a long way!).
All in all, Kino Sushi is a gem. Great food, cozy vibe, and that one amazing staff member who always makes my visit extra enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I’m completely disappointed.
I posted a review about 8 months ago saying that Kino was the best restaurant and my favorite one, and at the time, it truly was.
However, after my most recent experience, I felt the need to update my review, as a lot has changed.
We usually go there for the all-you-can-eat dinner menu, but this time, from our very first order, we were not served what we requested. Our garlic beef, which was part of our first order, never arrived. We waited through 2 more rounds before asking about it. When we asked, the waitress went to the kitchen and came back almost immediately with only 1 portion (the dish was ready, they just didn’t wanted to serve us), even though we had ordered 2. When we questioned it, she said that the bowl contained 2 portions. We have been there many times, we know the menu well, and we are familiar with our favorite dishes.
Additionally, the food was not as tasty as it had been in the past, and on multiple occasions we waited over 30 minutes for our food.
We used to recommend this place to everyone we knew and visited more than twice a month. Unfortunately, after this experience, I believe this was our last visit.
