We hosted our a Rehearsal dinner for 42 people at Kingswood and “out of towners” brunch at Nightbird for my son’s wedding last weekend. I cannot say enough about the entire experience. From the initial conversations with Laura and Hannah about our options to creating the absolute perfect menu with the chef and to the food being off the charts! All of our guests commented on how fabulous the food, drinks and evening were. The staff that worked the events were amazing and big shout outs to Caroline, Gracie, John Michael and Damien as well as John Michael and Phoebe who worked the brunch. On the day of Laura and Hannah were both there to ensure every detail was handled and worked seamlessly with our wedding coordinator. We even had a hiccup with our rehearsal and they allowed us to have it in the ballroom….customer service is off the charts at The Oliver. Communication was incredible and the restaurant was amazing. I highly recommend hosting a private event in the speak easy Nightbird or just going on an evening to hangout. Everyone loved the ambience and decor not to mention the brunch was five stars easily. Whether you are just doing a nice dinner or want a private event – you must choose Kingswood!!!!!

First time trying Kingswood and was not disappointed!! We started off with the fried vegetable quinoa and it was spicy and a new take on fried rice !! I had the filet and it was perfect and the sauce completely complemented the steak !! My wife had the fettuccine and she was very pleased !! Great atmosphere and excellent customer service !! 10/10 ******

We have enjoyed Kingswood since they opened. However, they recently had a change of chef and the food quality plummeted. Some of our dishes were inedible. The coveted cinnamon rolls we always enjoyed were replaced by some that just not good. The homemade breakfast potatoes were replaced by some frozen crinkle cut potatoes. The service was slow…took a long time to get our food. Don’t think we will be going back.

Blown away by the food here! Homemade ice cream was the best I ever had and the outdoor patio had a wonderful ambiance. Service was great too. I’ll definitely be back!!

The service was AMAZING!!! The manager however, was clearly rushing his staff and causing unnecessary tension. I would love to come here again but without the presence of the manager lingering and making things awkward for the customers.

My family came here to celebrate a birthday and everything was perfect. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable and funny, the food surprised us with just how good it is, and the atmosphere was warm, not overstimulating, and felt special. The chef really invests in local growers and the staff really understands the assignment. Y’all are sleepin on Kingswood – don’t!

First visit to Kingswood at The Oliver Hotel. Went for Sunday brunch. Food was ok and the mimosa was nice. Atmosphere was classy. Server was attentive. With so many places to eat in Oxford, this one won’t be that memorable- at least for me. Nothing wrong, just not anything really over the top outstanding.
