I’M A PERSON THAT LOVESSS FOOD & I LOVE JAMAICAN FOOD SO I DECIDED TO TRY THIS PLACE FRESH OFF OF WORK, STARVING.. I ORDERED THE FRIED RED SNAPPER $24.. 1ST OF ALL, THE FISH DEFINITELY WAS NOT A RED SNAPPER, LOOK MORE LIKE A B-LINE & THE COOKING OF IT WAS TERRIBLE.. HAD NO TASTE, DRY & THE TEXTURE WASN’T RIGHT.. UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO ASK FOR MY MONEY BACK CAUSE IT WAS UNACCEPTABLE.. THE COWFOOT PLATE WASN’T BAD BUT NOT WHAT I’M USE TO.. I WON’T BE VISITING THIS LOCATION NO MORE..

I’ve never had such dry and flavorless Jamaican food in my life. I ordered a takeout and am beyond disappointed. It’s like all the food has been sitting under a heat lamp for a day and a half. The rice and peas are dry as hell, the “jerk” chicken is inedible – dry, hard, no sauce or flavor. The only good part of my meal was the beef patty, but considering the fact they’re SEVEN DOLLARS I would hope so. There are definitely better places in the city for Jamaican, will not be ordering from here again.

When Kingston’s first open I ate there 3-4x a week behind home and at work. Unfortunately over time the food stopped being enjoyable and started to be extremely too spicy to the point there were times that the food was inedible. I stopped going altogether. Today I decided that I wanted some curry chicken gravy and peas and rice with a curry chicken eggroll. Basically, testing the waters, I went in today and to my surprise the container was half the size that it was before and I received a jerk chicken egg roll instead what I ordered. Hopefully, their business continues to be successful but I’m no longer a customer. Just for the record, whatever the overly negative and rude person who responds to their reviews please don’t. Whoever you are you’re not helping your business.

I love coming to Kingston’s. It’s my favorite go-to spot for Caribbean food here in metro Atlanta. The food is always fresh and filled with authentic flavors and the portions are plentiful. Always smiling faces and friendly service.

This place is amazing. The food is worth the price. The oxtail sandwich was delicious and 25 for a hefty plate.
You smell the food as soon as you walk in.
Extremely filling. The service is pretty decent you can’t help the wait time with food this good. If love the sweet and spicy then get the mango habanero wings. You won’t regret it 02/10/26

First time trying Kingston Caribbean Restaurant and I’m seriously impressed. I ordered the large jerk chicken with cabbage and rice & peas, and everything was full of authentic island flavor. The jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned; smoky, spicy, and super tender. The rice and peas were cooked just right, and the cabbage was fresh and well-spiced, which balanced the plate nicely. The portions were generous and definitely worth it. Great food and quick, friendly service. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more!

I decided to get the oxtail sandwich best choice ever. Now this was my first time trying this type of sandwich with oxtail, Coco bread, Beef patty and mac & cheese. I cant compare the taste to another restaurant, but what I can tell you. It was definitely delicious. Whoever made this idea, this combination, this concoction We need to speak. Their Coco bread was so moist and soft. Oxtail was soft and tender, reminded me of pulled pork. Love the mac & cheese, Not going to lie to beef patty just made the meal extra hearty. I’m here for it . If you want a more deep and deaf review. Follow my TikTok @ Mr.foodie
