This is what $27 1lb oxtail looks like from this place…not worth it. ABSOLUTELY NOT worth it. I see why it’s in the far back of the mall outside

If you haven’t already GO. The food is definitely one of the best I’ve tasted in a long time. A little hidden gem that definitely deserves their recognition. I enjoyed my curry chicken and jerk.

Kingston Arbor Jamaican Restaurant never disappoints! The service is always friendly, and the food is consistently fresh and full of flavor. The jerk wings are, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had – they’re tender, fall-off-the-bone delicious, and packed with flavor. The lunch specials are a fantastic value too. My only gripe is that although I earn points for my many purchases, I’ve been unable to redeem them since it seems the system hasn’t been set up yet. It’s a bit annoying, but it doesn’t take away from how great the restaurant is overall. Highly recommend!

The best jerk chicken in the entire DC area… hands down. The meat is fall-off-the-bone tender, and the seasoning brings that perfect heat that makes your mouth burn just enough to keep you coming back for more. Absolutely delicious every single time.

Mr. Dwight and his staff are PHENOMENAL! Excellent Brown Stew Chicken & peas and rice. His kindness is RARE where most Jamaican restaurants treat you with an attitude him and his staff are the exact OPPOSITE. Amazing people and AMAZING FOOD. I’ll be back again.

Food is tasty. Poor Customer service. Some female staff members are not and friendly and not helpful, when I asked a female staff member to label the packaging of the 6 patties that we ordered she had a negative attitude. The labeling is something basic that should have been done due to people having special dietary needs and customers only knowing what’s inside if they bite onto it. Meals are a bit pricey. A bit of a wait if the restaurant is busy or not busy. There are many tasty caribbean spots in the area and I recommend trying one of those instead for a pleasant experience.

The combo deal (2 meats + 3 sides) is HUGE!!! It can easily feed two normal sized people. If you’re not absolutely ravenous, it’s better to get the more moderately sized lunch special. I got the combo with curry goat, jerk chicken, plantains, rice & beans, and steamed dumplings. It was a mountain of food! Everything was delicious! Loved the goat in particular. Moist, soft, and flavorful. This place isn’t the cheapest Jamaican around, but the portions are super generous and the food is so tasty. Quick service too. Go get it!!

The food at this restaurant is amazing and always fresh. I previously ordered stewed chicken, oxtail dinner, and the jerk chicken. The lady that takes the order is so friendly. It is a pleasure visit this restaurant.

We had a lunch combo comes with rice and beans and a choice meat, salat and plantains. The portions were enough for one person and my wife had a pineapple ginger drink which was $4.50 and I felt it was expensive. But the taste of the food was good. The Plantains were a bit oily. The place is only 3 tables so take out is the best option.
This is my second time here and got the jerk chicken (5/5) small portion and the lady at the counter gave extra jerk sauce on top. The flavor was good and the chicken was very tender. The jerk seasons has some spice and sweetness to it.
