I worked around the corner from this place for 10 years and never discovered it. Tried it for the first time visiting the area and was blown away by the food! So delicious and I only had the French Onion Soup, and Honey Hot wings. They were legitimately some of the best wings I ever had. Will stop back in here again on my next visit to the area.

The warm “soft pretzel” was hard as a rock. The Pomme Frites must have been frozen and what was left from the bottom of the bag. The melted cheese on top was hard. It took a hour for the steak and cheese hoagie to be served. It wasn’t worth the long wait. We sat and ordered (pretzel, frites and a steak and cheese hoagie) at 1:15 pm and didn’t leave until 3:00 pm.

If the food and service was actually on track then the price is fitting. Unfortunately the food and service does not warrant the high price. Surf and turf for $52, but string beans on mash potatoes that look like they were the last in the bottom of the bag. The bacon wrapped filet minion was not bad, but lobster tail was small and over cooked. As for the oysters at $1, there was zero natural juices on them. Seemed to be the final batch that was prepped for 4-6 special, since we were there at 7.

I am a local and was excited when it got new owners. Was bummed when we went to try it. The food was lackluster, the ceiling was dripping, the table next to us had to move because someone had water constantly dripping on their shoulder. My drink tasted like cough syrup…just not a good time. Server was polite and nice though. But we won’t be going back. Don’t get why the chef leaves pamphlets out saying he is some big shot when his food is something Gordon Ramsey would tear to shreds. Other locals seem to like it cause there’s nothing else close by. A real shame.
