The food was very good, and the service was incredibly friendly! We had 10 in our group, and everyone walked away knowing they had had a good meal. The restaurant lighting was a little dim, and made things a little hard to see, but other than that it was a very nice meal!

Reserved a table through Resy. Showed up and the restaurant is closed. Apparently they’re closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays over the summer – they need to update their settings to show that. Honestly, from the look of the outside of the restaurant, I’m surprised they’re still operational at all.

This place is an alternative to square dining and offers genuinely good food. Overall a great pick if looking for a restaurant that is conveniently located away from the square. Very good char-grilled oysters and the New York strip was amazing! Would definitely recommend!

A hidden gem tucked off highway… dont let the exterior steer you away from this spot…. the staff are above and beyond professional and nice… we arrived at 5 to just a few tables but quickly watched as even during a storm that knocked out the power for almost an hour the place filled up quickly… on Thursday nights they have a boiled shrimp with sausage corn and bottomless beer special for only 25 you of course can do it without the beer for a little less but either choice is a good one….the shrimp were delicious seasoned well med size and plentiful portions with all the refillable of shrimp sausage corn and potatoes you can eat… almost forgot about the bread with garlic butter spread ….chef was trying out a few other season options and we got to sample those as well with the same plentiful portion…. the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing we sat in the bar area and even though the place is a bit dated looking the feel is like home will definitely return even though we will be 2 Hours away this place is worth the return trip back plus we still have more if the menu to try….
Best date night choice…

the service at King’s is great! we had a party of ten and everything was handled without a hitch. we were prepared to wait a while for our food but they got it out in a timely manner and our glasses were never empty! the place could use a few extra lights though, because the menus were pretty hard to see haha, but other than that! pretty good experience!

I paired a glass of Blanton’s with the ribeye. I recommend copying this recommendation. The mac & cheese is standard, topped with cheese, and comes in a generous portion. The ribeye is quality. Service is good, great bourbon menu, and I would recommend coming back!

We went for my mother in laws birthday. We showed up right at 5 pm, so that it would not be busy. The food is pricey, 27$-58$ however, it was worth every penny. I had a medium rare steak that was cooked to perfection. My mixed drink had heavy pour, and our waitress was super nice.

Good place, the stake was very tender and delicious, slightly undercooked for what I wanted. Rare when I wanted medium rare but it still tasted great.
Drink came to the table a little weak but notified the witness and she fixed it right away.
We where sat in the back bar area. It was decent but was extremely hot and smokey due to the kitchen. I would not be happy sitting back there again.
But the waitress was fantastic and gave amazing service. The food was quick and the over all customer service was great.

My steak was cooked perfectly, and the service was fantastic. They’ve got some really good cocktails on the menu. The weekly shrimp boil special is a great deal, and I assume that their other weekday specials are in the same bracket.
I had two issues with our visit: (1) the food seemed under-seasoned (the creamed spinach and the corn that came with the shrimp boil was completely unseasoned/); (2) the sides we had were underwhelming. The creamed spinach was just spinach sitting in warm cream rather than an actual sauce. The Mac and cheese was good, but not anything to write home about. Additionally, the “caramelized onions”, while good, were not caramelized but sauteed. That’s a pretty big difference, and I would’ve gotten a different addition to my steak if I had known what I was going to get.
Overall, a little expensive for what it is, but I feel I should state again that the steak I had was wonderful, and that our server was very good and a pleasure to speak with.

Well, for the amount of money these folks charge you’d expect the service and food to be top notch. That was not the case for us. We made a reservation 3 months prior to a friends graduation from ole miss, and then confirmed it twice in the weeks leading up to the dinner. There was 25 of us. A large party yes, but they had AMPLE time to prepare. When we got there they weren’t ready for us, and when we were seated the tables were all over the place. Our servers took our drink orders, and checked on us maybe twice. Unbelievably bad service. It took us 30 minutes to get drinks, and this is not an exaggeration but it took us 2 and a half hours to get our food. The food came sporadically and half of it was cold, the steak was fine, The potato was fine. They forgot multiple items and we had to personally go find our servers to get that sorted out. For whatever reason they couldn’t turn the AC down even though everyone in the restaurant was sweating. It was without a doubt one of the most expensive and bad experiences we’ve all ever had. I can’t stress enough how terribly they handled this as a whole. Go to a different steak house because here you’ll get god awful service and food that’s similar to Texas road house except it’s x20 the price.
