We came during a non peak time. Service was friendly but didn’t get our order right. Gumbo was legit, perfect heat level and flavor. Came back to ask if we wanted grilled or fried chicken on the Cajun salad. Said grilled. Came out fried anyway. And got the dressing wrong. Wasn’t bad, but no Cajun flare like the name suggests. Fried green tomatoes are worth it.

Hands down the worst gumbo I’ve ever had. My wife and I ordered the bbq combo for two. The only thing “edible” on the plate was the crab cake.

I had alligator here and it was awesome. I had tried alligator in the past and obviously the cook who was me didn’t know what he was doing. But these people do. It was a great place to stop and have a great lunch. Highly recommended by me

First of, they only have 1 server on a Saturday night. The server named Erica was okay at first then when she got comfortable she was touchy. After that my friend made her fix the ticket because it was wrong, after that, she keeps rolling her eyes, and when she bring us something she puts the stuff on the table with anger. The food was okay, but you couldn’t have a conversation with your company because the music is too loud.

Highlight for a trip to Memphis! Ribs, Gumbo, BBQ, Chicken, Seafood, Drinks, Live Music you can’t ask for more. On Beale St and the music pulled us in. The service, live band and atmosphere kept us there all night! My new favorite spot in Memphis.

Gumbo was more like Étouffée and I wouldn’t say it was “award winning”.. waitress was slow, then over charged for items. Waitress presented 5 different receipts, yes FIVE!! They all had different amounts on them too. Paid in cash and she never came back with the change, I can tell she does this often. Also, we were served with plastic cups and other patrons of a different skin tone we’re served with the “standard” cups.. The live music was the only highlight..Wouldn’t recommend or come back.

New to the area and decided to center out. The staff was amazing and the food was delicious! We did the kings platter for 2 and we did the fried green tomatoes. The amount of food is insane. We definitely had a to go box!
