The Colandrea brothers lend authenticity to their growing chain of popular Italian Panhandle restaurants. There’s something endearing about a family-run business, especially a restaurant. Knowing there are blood ties behind the counter just seems to add character to a grub hub. King’s New York Pizza and Restaurant are run by the Colandreas, a large family of Italian-Americans who lend authenticity to their traditional Italian food.
Low-key Italian outpost offers a varied menu of familiar dishes including hoagies & ravioli.

I ordered around noon(on February 24th. Attached is a photo of my DoorDash order) and the “food” arrived quickly. However, the quality of the food was less than appetizing. My order of spaghetti with “extra” meat sauce barely had any sauce on it. I am not even sure it contained meat! When I took the lid off it instantly made my stomach roll. The over powering smell of shredded cheese(apologize for saying shredded instead of grated) was very overwhelming. Honestly a can of Chef Boyardee Spaghetti Os smells more like spaghetti (I have a right to my opinion) than this $25 plate that I ordered. I took 2 bites, offered it to the other people at the table who quickly declined my offer. It ended up in the trash. With my meal I was given a loaf of bread which was over baked and very dry. The best part of the whole meal was the side salad. Im not sure what the hype is from the community if this is what the food always tastes like from this location. I will continue to go to the Kings in Kearneysville. (The two restaurants may be owned by the same people, and use the same recipes but the food from Kearneysville has NEVER looked or tasted the way this order did. I originally rated service at a 5 star but now basically calling me a liar I will change that to a 2 star! Also I did not state anywhere in the original review that I ordered this meal TODAY you just assumed I did. )
We tried the zucchini sticks which were a little heavy on the breading but tasted pretty good.
The chicken parmigiano pizza was delish – like a chicken parm sub with more cheese and less bread. Tasty and filling.
Food came out fast – the cooks were hustling. Our server was great!
Highly recommend if you are in the area.
Note the additional charge for using a credit card. We wish we had known this in advance.

We had cheesesteaks delivered before and they were SO GOOD that we decided to go eat there. We were shocked how good it was! It was literally fancy Italian restaurant good!
We had lasagna and chicken alfredo and both were home made and just delicious! The bread was light & fresh and they have olive oil parmesan cheese & garlic for dipping. We were super impressed and will be back!
I will also say honestly that crabcakes in New England suck, they are much much better in this area!

I only mentioned the crabcakes as a way of suggesting that I am not prejudiced by geography, not suggesting I had that at your establishment. And I have been to Italy three times, and your restaurant would not stay open there for more than a week.
