We are new to Philippi and stopped in to Kings Pizza for lunch. The young lady that waited on us was very friendly and checked on us several times during our meal. The food was excellent!! We had the Kings special pizza, a salad and a pasta dish. Everything was excellent. We had enough left over to enjoy during football today.

Have called multiple times on several occasions and they do not answer the phone when it says they are open. Try to order $90-100 monthly, pizza is good (only in town), but rarely open on Mondays when I call. Not a great business model.

The evening staff are all exceptionally rude. They have poor customer service. Can’t answer a single question, refuse to correct their mistakes. Their pizza sauce is sour. The dough is always undercooked. They don’t give enough pepperoni or toppings in general. The only thing that makes their food worth eating is their garlic sauce. absolutely would not eat here, unless you want to waste your money.

Can’t ever get a order right order one thing the person taking your order puts another and then they say well it says you ordered this the owner and main waitress is rude and nasty !!! Always check your food upon pickup because they make a really big deal about fixing their mistakes please don’t eat here a tonys pizza and 30 minutes in your stove will save you a trip and will 100% without a doubt treat you better then the super greasy undercooked pizza that they serve

I have traveled the world, and experienced many pizza places. This hidden gem was amazing! My family and I were traveling through for the summer and craving pizza. We got a Kings Special NY Style…. and it was PERRRFFEECT!!! The chef knows what they’re doing. The crust was perfectly crunchy on the bottom, with a soft top for the fresh toppings!! No canned stuff here, and it shows! The ingredients have crunch, the sauce is light and tasty not sour like other places. The marinara was on point as well. It is quiet, the young lady who waited our table was fast and friendly. We also got jalapeño poppers, which were cooked golden brown. And a great crunch with mildly spicy peppers… superb! I am so sad its not closer. Best Pizza ive had in years!!

Ordered pickup just after lunch from their online menu. When I arrived to pickup, I was a bit surprised that not one patron was there. I have worked in pizza joints when I was younger and I know when not busy it only takes 10-15 minutes to make and bake a pizza so when I was told 25 minutes I was suspicious and went in at 20 minutes. I was surprised when asked to pay $5 more than what was listed online. When I pointed that out to the young lady she kept referring to the printed menu for pricing. When I again tried to explain that was not the price listed online the young lady just ignored what I was trying to explain not even acknowledging the price discrepancy. I may have been willing to pay the extra if she would have acknowledged that the online price was a mistake but she kept insisting I was wrong. So I left without the pizza. They should correct the online pricing and or train their staff on how to acknowledge and explain the situation. Not just ignore it. And probably a good idea to give the total when the phone order is placed to avoid the issue altogether. Unless their business model is a bait and switch. Which is also a reckless practice. Best of luck to the business but based on previous reviews I’d be shocked it lasts very much longer.

We ordered a Sicilian crust pizza with three toppings. The wait time was good. The appearance of the pizza made your mouth water. However, the pizza lacked sauce and had entirely too much cheese. It was dry and bland. I doubt I order pizza from there again.

This is hands down best Pizza in the surrounding area. I am used to NY and NJ pizza and this is the closest so far. We have dined in and the salad is always crisp and fresh. The place is clean. The atmosphere usually quiet and decor is sparce. However, the service is prompt and to the point. Also best NY style cheesecake.
