Visiting rising sun for a day trip and was totally enjoying the small town and needed some food. First this is an establishment that wasn’t very busy. I stepped inside and was hit with a strong smell of cigarettes. I kept walking to the bar for a seat. I ordered a margarita and got a menu. I proceeded to get chicken wings, a western burger and onion rings. While waiting I chatted with a lady that told me the food wasn’t the greatest but I should try another establishment. (I will next time). After waiting which seemed forever on my food- I watched the bartender blow her nose and cough and never wash her hands. I continued chatting and later found out the woman was actually an employee there. Wow! Food finally came out. Wings were good. Burger was a minor upgrade from Burger King and onion rings were satisfactory. I asked for my bill and said no rush. I then took a few pics of the place and noticed 3 other employees in the kitchen scarfing a pizza down. (I later found out that employees have to pay for their meals in full).

We found the service was good, the food was average, and the whole place was dirty and run down. When we visited the nearby shops people asked us where we were going for lunch and we said we had eaten at King’s Landing already. They all kind of frowned and the suggested four or five other places we would have enjoyed more.

One of the best freshly made burgers I’ve ever had outside of home. Great service,
the bartender/server was friendly as were the other customers. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.

Bacon cheeseburger & fries @ Kings Inn were really really good. Even though they were busy and it’s a small kitchen order was done quickly and just right. Rising Sun is a lovely small town.

The wings are terrible. Why are they selling pigeon sized hot wings. Ordered 70 wings and all of them were Itty bitty. Not worth the money they cost.

Steak Dinner is always great and the Service is friendly. My only complaints are the floor is uneven which causes me to sit at an angle that hurts my back and it gets very smokey.
