I travel for work and love sushi so anytime I get somewhere new I try as many places as I can to find the best spot early. This has to be the best sushi in the Lynchburg area. Truly amazing, fresh, and filling. The staff are all amazing and the restaurant itself is clean and quiet with kind of a fancy feel (no they didn’t turn me away even being in work uniform). Crunchy roll (green one) has got to be one of my favorites from anywhere.

This is a really good chinease food. The portions were good for the price. We had a large party and we were served quick and the food was fresh.

This place has a certain charm about it. Very vintage Chinese-American. There are a plethora of options to choose from on the menu. I always try and get something more traditional tasting at Chinese restaurants nowadays so I got the Cilantro Pork with a 9/10 spicy level. It was really really good. Hit the spot. I tried some of my family’s food and it wasn’t as good so I think it really depends on what you get. I’ll definitely be back for that cilantro pork.

I turned into this restaurant’s parking lot by mistake. The lot was full, so I thought, “Why not here?” The menu had sushi on it, and that was one of the things I was in the mood for. The waiter asked whether I wanted my martini on the rocks, and with or without salt, and after a bit of back-and-forth, making sure he knew I wanted gin, not tequila, he disappeared and returned a bit later with a fine dry martini. After a few more minutes, he brought a bowl of miso soup with such a layer of scallion rings that I at first thought it was something else. It was delicious. The sushi assortment was as good as any I’ve ever had, ending any doubts I had about ordering sushi at a restaurant at the foot of the mountains and 200 miles from the ocean. This is on my list of places worth returning to, although I really ought to go to my intended destination the next time I’m in town.

I have eaten at King’s Island since I was a child. It has been years since I’ve been but did not disappoint. We had salmon sushi and sesame chicken, Hunam’s Twin Delight. All delicious and excellent service.

I’ve been coming to this place for my whole life. So I’m probably a little biased, but I think it has the best chicken and cashews anywhere. I’ve ever eaten chicken and cashews. Michael is a wonderful server. Staff is always so nice. The building itself is a piece of art. Must see attraction for Asian cuisine in Lynchburg, Virginia.

We ordered 3 sesame chickens for delivery. The delivery arrived quickly and the driver was nice. The food however was terrible. It tasted nothing like sesame chicken. The sauce was like brown syrup, super, super sweet. None of the traditional sesame chicken flavor, just pure sugar, maybe corn syrup. Chicken was stringy, overcooked, over battered, soggy. Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had.

Delicious food, good service, nice atmosphere (Just wish for some cultural music), always a very pleasant experience. My husband and I have been going to Kings Island for at least 20 years, so we have tried most dishes, we always start with a pu pu platter and egg drop soup, one dish to share, sometimes extra tempura shrimp, my husband’s most recent favorite Chicken of the Hans. I could eat most all of it! Anyway, if you like Chinese/Polynesian food, sushi, this is the place.

Call the restaurant to place a take out order. Placed on hold. Wasn’t even 3 minutes until phone went click and I was hung up on. This restaurant has been in business for so long yet they can’t get online ordering. I take my business somewhere else.
