I’ve driven by this place repeatedly without ever knowing it was a restaurant! Turns out, I’ve been missing a hidden gem, literally for decades. I had an early dinner at 4 pm and everything that my companion and I got was very good. Chicken wings appetizer, fish tacos, steak and fries, mac and cheese side, all excellent. Spoke with three different staff members and they were all super friendly, too. It’s a little on the pricey side, but these days everything is, right? However, be sure to ask about what discounts are available to you, because they have several very generous ones.

I can’t brag enough how fantastic of a server Daniel was the day my friends and I visited in August. He’s what one would call top tier server. He was friendly, welcoming, informative, and extra attentive. Serving just came natural to him, it seems. We weren’t the only table he was serving. There were several others. We liked him.

It was my first time at Kings Highway. I liked the restaurant. It was interesting and unique place. The macramé giant elephant hanging on the wall was a show stopper.

Food was good. Will have to come back again to try out other bites

Had a great experience at Kings Highway in Palm Springs! The atmosphere perfectly captures that classic desert-modern vibe — stylish but still relaxed and comfortable. The space is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, making it a great spot to sit back and enjoy the meal.

The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with attention to detail. Service was warm and welcoming, and the overall energy of the restaurant made the experience even better. Our son especially loved the music, which added a really fun and lively touch to the visit.

Definitely worth a visit when you’re in Palm Springs. We’ll be back!

I didn’t want to have to do this publically, but I was encouraged by enough people in town that this will have a stronger impact than speaking directly to management—which I would have preferred, though let’s be honest, then would anybody care?

I live two miles away, I can walk here. In the last three years since moving to this town, Kings Highway has been our local diner. I came here with every family member who has visited me, I’ve held important business meetings here, and most personally, I came here after signing my marriage license, and many, many times on dates with my husband and lunches with my whole family.

It was always Palm Springs pricey, but we endured $19 açaí bowls—cause they were delicious—and $5 coffees and the fantastic service we always receive made this diner a staple in my family.

Two days ago, I came in for breakfast (I was recognized as a regular( how lovely, thank you!) and sat down to decide what I wanted. I know the menu and I was shocked when I saw the price update. My açaí bowl was now TWENTY EIGHT dollars. Coffee…NINE?!

I understand math, economics, inflation, all of it. But at those prices, this may have been my last time coming, ever.

This may sound cruel, but if I had Parker money, I’d eat breakfast at the Parker. Diners used to symbolize a place where workmen, families, groups of teens, grandpas and granddaughters, would all find themselves alongside people working on thier laptops and reading books with a cup of coffee.

Kings Highway held onto one semblance of that for me until this price hike. I can’t believe how greedy the increase feels. Same food. Good food! But TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS for two eggs? This hotel “diner” clearly wants to be exclusive, as if exclusivity was something this town needed more of.

I apologize if this message was frank, I always have a lovely time coming here. Do let me know if prices return to something reasonable, I’d love to come back. Otherwise, sorry, but fifty dollars for two people to have eggs is psycho, and not even with a single cup of coffee, let alone a mimosa, included.

What a Vibe!!
Someone suggested us this place for brunch in Palm Springs. The interior is lovely with beautiful details. We had pets with our group so we couldn’t sit indoors, however the patio too was perfect to spend a nice time having lunch with live music at the pool and total vacation vibes.
We had a trio mezze platter, Fried cauliflower in appetizers. We loved both. Pasta in the main course was okay. It was the only vegetarian option available in main course. I hope they add more vegetarian options.
Service was quick.

We were at this clean beautifully appointed restaurant about noon on a Sunday and were offered breakfast and lunch menu choices.

Fresh well prepared food delivered in a reasonable amount of time by Sara, a lovely and personable server. Sara is friendly and engaged and efficient.

The hostess also conveyed a hospitable vibe. We had the breakfast burrito served with tater tots and yogurt parfait, a lovely bowl of plain yogurt with berries, granola, tiny mint leaves and maple syrup.

We enjoy sitting at the car and comfortably did so. We will definitely return!

While the food was good, it was very expensive for what you ordered. We ordered a hamburger and a salad, which cost us over $80!!! Also, they charge an extra fee on top of the already expensive meal. And to top it off, they absolutely refuse cash!!! You can only pay with credit/debit cards using an app with your phone! Some of us are old school and use only cash, which is LEGAL tender! Never going back there. I give it a 2 star only because the food was good and the staff was okay. Otherwise, I wouldn’t give it more than a single star.

I have been a customer here for years. Things have taken a turn for the worse.
Beautiful location and friendly service but overpriced to a point that I find downright brazen (10$ cappucino, 5% unexplained surcharge on final check). That would be tolerable if the food itself was fantastic, but the plates that come out of the kitchen are mediocre, techically flawed and made without love.
Greed is the enemy of hospitality and repeat business.

Nice little diner at the Ace Hotel. Super friendly servers.

Kids chocolate chip pancake was the highlight for me. The breakfast wrap was ok but the eggs were well done, bacon was a bit too hard on the teeth. The leafy green side salad was meh.

Wife got the spicy nacho breakfast. Forgot the name of it but it was mostly one dimensional.

Overall it was nice to try.
