I’m really not sure what took me so long to get here, but I’m upset now that it did! This was a phenomenal experience. As soon as we walked in, we knew we were going to enjoy it. The vibe is so good, and they’ve done such a good job making this a cute and cozy space inside of a historical building. Their seasonal drink menu was excellent, which is what we ordered from. And the sweet and savory treats they had were to die for. We got a scone and a homemade oatmeal cream pie. Both excellent! We had our drinks and relaxed for a while. Service was fast and friendly! Just great overall experience. We will definitely be back soon!

I purchased a Chemex pour over carafe from them and get my coffee here each week and it has definitely stepped up my coffee enjoyment. They have a fantastic selection of hand roasted beans made fresh each week and I love them all. I’m lucky enough to live minutes away but you can always order online and they will ship to you. The barista’s are very knowledgeable and helpful and make the best coffee creations. The store has a warm and inviting feel if you want to stay and chill. Best of the best! I haven’t tried the food and treats yet but it all looks amazing.

Love this spot! Such a warm and homey feel inside while still having a splash of classy! The employees are consistently friendly and always excited to greet you with a warm hello! A hidden gem in Belvidere you don’t want to miss! My go to is the iced chai latte but today was their special tiramisu latte. Perfection. I’m not a huge coffee fan but when I indulge I’m a sweet coffee drinker. This was sweet enough for me while still getting the coffee flavor coming through. The dollop of cream on top adds for an extra dash of sweetness. On top of all that, it was served at the absolute perfect temperature ready to immediately drink.

This is the best coffee we’ve had so far on the east coast. They roast their own beans with their setup clearly visible in the back. While there is probably some charm to the concept of an experienced roaster knowing by eyeing the color, they appear to have a gas chromatographer and know exactly how to use it. We’ve been several times and have often bought beans from them to make at home. They are consistently high quality. When sitting at the location, it is what I would expect from a coffee shop. They have a small selection of baked goods, but it is all about the coffee and tea. I do not go for extras in my coffee and assess a place purely on the quality of the coffee served black, so cannot speak to their ability to add the extras or make specialty drinks. Service and environment are are good.

Also, local pastries that are delicious and such a comfortable and chill environment to come enjoy a cup of coffee with a friend or work on a project ! One of my favorite spots around town !

I became a monthly subscriber to King’s Gambit because their roasted coffees are amongst the best I’ve had in both NJ and the DC area. It also gave me an excuse to go to their cafe to enjoy their superb espresso drinks. However, I’m leaving this review because their customer experience has been second to none. They’re always friendly, my subscription beans always come with a hand-written note, my last pickup came with a special gift coffee mug (Thank You King’s Gambit!!!), and now I’ve learned they’re delivering my next allotment of beans during their holiday closure. You just don’t see a customer experience like it today and I’m so happy to support this local business. Keep up the great work!

When we got to the place we thought we thought we got lost. But as soon as we got inside ooohhh the atmosphere was very cozy. Price is very reasonable. It’s cool how it was decorated. Staff were very helpful / friendly. The top two characteristic that I look for in a place. Definitely recommend this place for that. Can’t really remember what to talk about the drinks we ordered because personally when I find the characteristics I look for, that’s more than enough of reason for me to come back.
