Sadly our food and service were also lacking. Very meat heavy, few healthy options, and our waiter was so bad at their job… they couldn’t answer questions we had about the menu and then disappeared for a half hour.
We went for lunch on a very cold Sunday in January,so maybe they didn’t have the A-team, but I can’t imagine how much more uncomfortable I would have felt when it was full of customers.
So if you’re looking for a fun, relaxing bowling experience I would recommend elsewhere. If you’re looking for a bowling bar, go here.
Food: My sister and I ordered the King’s Sampler and the Chicken Pesto Pizza. The Buffalo Chicken Wontons were hands down the best we ate (that night and) from the King’s Sampler. It was very saucy, meaty, and had a nice crisp. The cheddar bites, spring rolls, and pretzel bites were all just okay and basic in taste. The Chicken Pesto Pizza was dry and bland in flavor. We asked for ranch and marinara sauce on the side to make it bearable to finish. A pizza should be able to stand on its own in flavor, and this one did not.
Service: When we asked for ranch and marinara sauce for our pizza, our server took a good 15 minutes to return with it. It shouldn’t take that long to get sauces in tin cups. This place was more than half empty. She disappeared after this. When we wanted to close our tab, she was nowhere to be found. We even asked other staff about wanting to close out. THEY COULDN’T FIND HER EITHER. Roughly a good half hour. She magically reappeared after another staff member finally was able to give us our bill. We decided to ask her for a bag for our food – that took another 15 minutes. When we asked another server passing by about bags, they muttered something quickly, and kept walking. So much laughing amongst the staff but not as much care or respect towards customers.
Atmosphere: This place has good potential for entertainment given a few arcade games, 10 bowling lanes, and a few pool tables. However, if service for food is anything like it is for entertainment, it may not be worth coming here for. Seems like it could be a good outing for groups, but customer service is in serious need of improvement.
