Nice little gem on the Colorado/Kansas line. The food and service was excellent. Best fried dill pickles I’ve ever had. The fried steak sandwich was amazing. Definitely will be back if I’m ever in the area again. Worth the short drive off I-70 for sure!

Good home cooked breakfast. Small menu but has all the staples plus breakfast burritos. Excellent value too. Low prices with good portions. Staff was super friendly and the kids loved coloring and placing a pin on the “map” for where we are from. 🙂

I ordered a burrito and I received additionally a sample of their homemade sauce. Amazing burrito, and the homemade sauce is also great! Also about the donuts, they’re light and fluffy feeling. It doesn’t feel heavy eating them. The frosted donuts were amazing, even the glazed donuts are just as enjoyable! One of the best donuts I’ve had, ever. If I get a chance I’d like to visit again, try the other options on the menu and get another dozen donuts!

This place was absolutely awesome. The food was excellent, everyone was very full. The place was smoked but the staff were always smiling and friendly. Even gave us some directions on the old county roads so we could go take a picture with the Colorado welcome sign not on interstate. Had an absolute blast with my 4 kids. Great stop.

Ok, it’s off the beaten path, on a dirt/gravel road, in the middle of a small town. We still found a place to put a 36′ camper and a super duty 350 long bed. So, yes you can park there even with a trailer. The food was amazing, try the cinnamon roles if you are lucky enough to be there on a Saturday. Staff was great and everyone was friendly. Will be returning every time we head in the direction.

Had breakfast here, and it was great. Friendly service, good food, clean facility. The town seemed nearly abandoned and in decay, so we were surprised when the diner was so good. Definitely worth checking out.

My friends and I were traveling to Colorado for spring break, and we decided when we left that we didn’t want to stop somewhere we could get at home. I’m so glad we decided to stop somewhere “off the beaten path.” King’s Cafe had AMAZING food and very friendly service. We left full and happy! It is definitely worth the stop!

Worth stopping, make sure you get or take a donut
. This is a tiny Town (Google says population 154) if you have never been to a tiny Town cafe, you are missing out. Friendly helpful people. Tasty fresh food. We had the desert Nacho’s. Sugar bomb! We took a donut each for later down the road. The donuts were wow! Nice wait staff as well. Do your self a favor and stop by
