Got the beef stew with fufu. Amazing. The oxtail with couscous and rice was also so good. Would definitely recommend. Decent sized portions for the price. I think each of these dishes was about $15/20 per plate. My friend ordered the catfish and fries. I took a bite and don’t think it tasted great, but honestly that’s probably just me thinking its boring in comparison to the other food. ***Friend got food poisoning from this catfish though…*** Can’t recommend that, but overall the food I got was good. The restaurant was empty and it was comfy. The guy who helped us was nice, helpful, and attentive. Would definitely come again if I happen to be in Madison.

Stopped by on 10/18 before the NO KINGS PROTEST (FDT) and had fufu agusy and domada. It was awesome . My adventurous foodie 13 yo also loved it. The fufu eguse was rich, bright, flavorful, aesthetically pleasing. The Domada was wonderful and not overly peanut laden like have had before, and also just spicy enough to make one sweat a little but not blow out ones taste buds.

I finally found some good fried fish since I’ve been here in Wisconsin. It was very seasoned. I usually add salt to everything I didn’t have to add anything. If you’re looking for some good fried fish try out Kingdom restaurant. I literally was just going to just take a couple bites but the picture attached showed you how good it was. ALL GONE. If I wasn’t watching my figure I might have finished the french fries too. You can tell that they change their frying grease. NICELY DONE.

Best fried chicken I’ve had in Madison. Crispy, flaky, well-seasoned skin and juicy meat. Cheesesteak also top notch, burger and fish sandwich are solid options. Hands down the best, freshest fries this side of Blair Street.

The restaurant repeatedly called me cursing me out due to problems outside of my control. Very unprofessional behavior.
Ordered from Grubhub and the order was running late and there was no tracking information so I spoke to Grubhub support who told me the restaurant never confirmed the order and that they couldn’t reach the restaurant. I asked if the order was on the way and Grubhub matter-of-factly told me: “No” and cancelled my order.
Grubhub cancelled the order, but it still showed up anyway. I told Grubhub support that the order did eventually arrive, but it was after the cancellation was already processed.
The restaurant then called me on my personal cell phone to curse me out and tell me it was my fault.
I’ve ordered from them in the past and have had problems (missing drinks, missing whole meals) but have returned because I like their food. Not anymore, they told me I’m banned. If you order food from them, expect issues. Or better yet, don’t waste your time with them.

This evening Kingdom sold me the greasiest, gross gyro I have ever seen! The pita bread was drowned in grease so much so that the bread started breaking when I bent it. The container was full of grease and the gyro meat was covered in grease!! I will NEVER BE EATING THERE AGAIN.

I was excited to try some of their authentic African dishes. So I ordered two things from GrubHub for delivery. Unfortunately only half of what I ordered made it to my house. What did arrive was poorly packaged and spilled all over the inside of the plastic bag. When I called the restaurant to tell them only half of our food arrived, and complain about the mess, the person working there told me to call back in 10 minutes. I did not, that was rude! Now, I can’t speak to the rest of the menu but this food (fufu with beef) was bad, pretty much inedible in my opinion. I’m very disappointed with this food and service. I cannot recommend.
